Typical Ibis

Now I absolutely loved this place, although you couldn't swing a cat in the rooms and the bathroom was so tiny you'd really have to suck it in to get into the shower the somewhat dated interior made up for that.
Location was fantastic when we arrived there was a festival going on up in the square and to be fair it was pretty good.
Breakfasts where what id expect with the smell of bacon hanging heavily in the air and the obligatory rubber scrambled eggs that Ibis have perfected but filled you up and the coffee was decent.
Lets not be deluded, when we check into a 2star ibis that's what you get, sheets are clean, fresh towels daily and bloody nice staff trying their hardest with what they have.
Would I go back again? In a heartbeat!! It's not what you have that counts it's what you do with it. Thanks Guys

Really great location and excellent staff. Be warned though, the hotel rooms are incredibly small. I couldnt open the bedroom door all the way and due to long legs I couldnt close the bathroom door when sat on the toilet, that level of small. For this reason I would personally prefer to pay more for a bit more comfort, but thats just a personal choice.
But having said that it was very central and reasonably priced. The staff were very helpful and friendly. There was also very good air con whoch given the temperatures during a heatwave was a very good plus!

Room compact but clean and well equipt, hotel staff pleasant and very helpful. Breakfast basic but fresh with good choice. Excellent location just a short stroll from the centre and 20 mins from rail station.

One night in Leuven, good value hotel

Pros:
✅ Ideal location: Located in the city centre, this hotel is perfect for exploring Leuven on foot. Everything is accessible in minutes, which is a real plus for a short stay.
✅ Private parking: A rare asset in the center, especially if you travel by car. No stress to park, it is appreciable.
✅ Friendly staff: The welcome is warm and the staff is available, making the stay more enjoyable.
Areas for improvement:
⚠️ Size of rooms: The room and bathroom are rather small, which can be uncomfortable for an extended stay.
⚠️ Medium comfort: The bedding is correct without being exceptional. For one night, it passes, but for many, it could become awkward.

Clean hotel and friendly staff. The only negative was the noise. The chairs in the room when they are moved make a signficiant noise on the floor. And this can be heard through walls.
