Rooms were basic, but well equipped with all that is necessary. They were clean, but the decor was a little tired. The personnel were polite and friendly.
The breakfast buffet was standard, with a choice of a main meal (for the festival party people perhaps?)!
What I really appreciated about this hotel was it's location just across from the impressive city walls and Porte St Lazare entrance into the centre of Avignon. There are bus stops right outside the hotel, which was particularly helpful for the transfer to the Flixbus stop on the outskirts of the town. There is a direct bus which takes you there in 10 minutes.
I would stay there again for the ease and convenience of getting there and being within walking distance of all that Avignon has to offer, while offering a calm and quiet refuge to retire to.

Studio near the historic center with parking

Accommodation in front of the university and close to the historic center. Ease of parking even though we could have been warned that we needed to check in at the reception before going there. The reception did not respond to the parking bell.
Decent studio but nothing more.
Pleasant breakfast and special mention to the African employee who is all smiles and very welcoming. Thank you to her!
Reception: the two male receptionists who welcomed us were not very pleasant, especially the one hired as a temporary worker for the past 2 weeks.

June on a motorcycle from the French Riviera to Occitania.

Apartment quite close to the center, 20 minutes on foot, with private underground parking. Limited service to check-in; for the rest, you manage independently, also enjoying various included services such as a gym (free) and a laundry room (4€ for the washing machine and 2€ for the dryer, great for those like us traveling "on the road"), with a rich and quality buffet breakfast available for a fee. Apartment of correct size and clean, equipped with comforts, having a window overlooking a very quiet internal courtyard.

Room needs an update. It was ok to sleep but our window had a dismal view on the bottom floor and we just had to keep the drapes closed as privacy was an issue. Room could be detail cleaned.

Adjacent to the center of Avignon.

Hotel apartment with a kitchen. Cleaning is not their strong suit; the dishes are limited and need to be washed before use. Excellent location for visiting Avignon, with the shuttle stop right next to it.
