Next year we will visit again

Excellent experience। Good service। Manager Pavan ji a fine & decent person। The location is fantastic। All the service persons are very humble and soft। We have a joyful time over there,. Rooms ar big , and clean।

A hotel in dire need of renovation

Location: Very good...on the mal road
Price: Exorbitant considering the facilities offered
Service: Not good....no daily cleaning, no own kitchen, food, if ordered supplied from another restaurant
Maintenance: Very poor
Problems: I was on top floor (4th) because that's where hill view rooms are. No lift. Disturbance of pigeons, monkeys, insects, including centipedes all through day & night
Overall the hotel is in need of total renovation. I had booked for 5 days but had to cut short by 3 days and move to another hotel. Lots of tussle with cancellation charges though I was forced to cancel for deficiency in amenities. Lastly to avoid chaos, I had to pay a lot.
Only bright feature is the manager, Mr Pawan Rai who was cordial and helpful. He was trying his best despite poor facilities at the hotel.
I will not suggest this hotel to anyone.

Overpriced, overhyped.

Booked the best room in the hotel. The best suit. Found that we had to move up and down steep stairs to the topmost floor. Almost a tiring trekking experience always. Had to ask for time and again so that geysers might work. All the windows were asked to be closed always otherwise insects might come in. Even after that suit became filled with insects. One would become claustrophobic staying in the room. Even mall cannot be viewed from the rooms although the hotel is within the mall. If one wants food here only bread and omelette (or boiled egg) can be found as breakfast, and even for those we had to wait for more than an hour every day. There is a restaurant downstairs. We ordered dinner from there on the first evening and the standard of the food is less said than better.
Do not stay here.

Awesome Location

The hotel is at the centre of the thoroughfare. It’s perfect for family trips. The hotel staffs are really very friendly and courteous (specially the Manager). However the only drawback is variety of foods available is not that much and seems a bit expensive as well. But overall it was a very nice stay and would love to visit again. I would recommend to book rooms in 2nd floor / 3rd floor. I stayed in room no. 46 & 47. I would like to stay in room no. 47.

Not impressive

The hotel is extremely old and the not ventilated enough. The location is awesome, the view from the room is fantastic with the Mall right in front of the window. The room is huge but the furniture is old, looks shabby and unimpressive. Geyser works fine in the bathroom. We ordered tea in the morning and it was served in the room. The reception staff was cooperative and polite. I would prefer not to stay in this hotel again.
