Magnificent place for a very fair price
My stay at Padimas Villa was a real delight. Located away from noisy tourist areas, it offers a true immersion in the wild nature of Langkawi and local life. The property, with its beautiful chalets and small villas, is lush, green, and full of flowers, a real pleasure to stay in.
The place is run by an adorable family, especially Norma, whose welcome was wonderful. The same can be said for everyone working there (hey Fisa ).
The accommodations are very well maintained and spacious, whether you choose a simple chalet or a villa. There is also a very large chalet that I didn’t get to visit but looks magnificent. I had a very large bed, King size. TV, air conditioner, fan, kitchen, fridge.
The bathrooms are modern and clean following the Malaysian setup. The pool is very pleasant. You can rent scooters on site and ask for advices. Aimen will probably even offer to show you around the area: orchards, rivers, and other local treasures.
Breakfasts are different every day: fruits, coconut-filled pancakes, coffee, tea, fresh drinks, noodles, scrambled eggs, small vegetable omelets, toast, and jam. Everything is simple and made with heart.
Nearby, you’ll find restaurants, small shops, and local stalls. The most beautiful beaches are 10–20 minutes away. Riding a scooter along these roads, sometimes lined with macaques, is a joy.Every turn reveals a beautiful view.
I will remember my time at Padimas for a long time, and I will definitely come back!

Beautiful location ~ peaceful and quiet. Can hire a bike from there, so easy to get one and head out exploring. Nowhere is too far away but you feel nice and secluded there.

The location is abit far from the airport & cenang beach. around 30 mins drive. The location is quiet enough at night to sleep & the air is fresh in the morning. kind of kampung house feel. The mattress is so comfortable which is unexpected.

No information available as to where to eat, buy food etc
Tiny bottles of water supplied for first night only
No one around if you need help or even to order breakfast
They put about 10 spoonfuls of sugar in the jug of black tea making it undrinkable
Shame this could be SO good
They need a manager here to make this a success - half the villas are empty!
They look new and are very nice so we were confused as to why no one was at the place to provide a service for guests

Padimas provides very nice, comfortable houses for rent at the north end of Langkawi Island. This is a perfect place to stay if you want to relax and get some peace and quiet, as it's away from everything. The flipside of this is that you'll have to drive to get anywhere. In terms of service, they are very helpful about providing anything you need. Make sure to contact the owner and let him know what time you'll arrive.
