A Cut Above
Privately owned, which explains a lot. Just 3 hotels right now but ambitions to expand.
So simple, come down the M32 and turn straight into Cabot Circus Car Park. The only hotel in Bristol which pays for your parking. And attractive room rates.
A few negatives : bedside lights work in tandem, so both on or both off.
Whilst comfortable, the mattress is bizarre. Any pressure on any part of it and you feel as though you are in a small boat an a rough sea - everything but everything rocks and rolls.
Oh, and 3 lifts vital, with one out of action response was terribly slow.
But lots of nice touches. Have never stayed in a hotel with a diagram showing you how both controls for the shower works.
Blissfully quiet despite being on the main dual carriageway into Bristol.
Excelleny buffet breakfast in the well lit basement. Good value and great service.
Restaurant recommended and attracts lots of walk in clients.
We dined on arrival at Pizza Express (see review) in Cabot Circus Mall. Sadly only respectable restaurant there, all the others fall into the, "junk food" category.
Brilliant service from Miguel behind the Bar and Sultan)?) on Reception.
We may try Cardiff branch next.

Specifically, I wish to address the following issues:
Parking Fine: During my stay, I incurred a parking fine while parked outside your hotel. This occurred because I was unable to return to the vehicle promptly due to a broken door in my room that required immediate attention. I had go up and down for ask your staff to replace and it talk a while, When I reported this to the reception team, I was told it was "my problem." As a guest, I expect assistance with reasonable issues that arise during a stay, not a dismissive attitude. Given that the delay was directly related to your facility's maintenance failure, I expect the hotel to intervene with the parking management company to have this fine rescinded.
Room Deficiencies: Upon arrival, the television’s remote control was missing, making it unusable. Furthermore, despite there being three guests in the room (two adults and one child), we were provided with only one set of shower robe.
Amenities: The internet speed was unacceptably slow, hindering our ability to use necessary services during our stay.
The combination of these failures and the dismissive, unprofessional conduct of your reception staff has made this an incredibly frustrating exper
