Night in Pofadder

An oasis in Pofadder. Overnight stay in a very well-run hotel with great service and friendly staff.
Restaurant provides good standard food. Big helpings. An amazing 20-meter swimming pool.
Open bar area with very orderly well controlled clientele.
Basically, serves the mining population and provides source of employment to locals. Definite stay next time.

Great experience

The waiter was one of the best , friendly, smart and very helpful. Will most certain recommend to friends and family to book and experience best service .

The room were clean, and service and food quality were good. The only problem was regarding hot water. In the evening the water was slightly warm but at 7.30 am when trying to shower there was no hot water. and the hot water tap in the basin hardly had any flow it just dripped when opened .

Disappointing

Power kept tripping, so geysers were turned off and we had cold showers. The staff were having a wonderful party in the kitchen which resulted in our overpriced dinner being sent back to the kitchen, inedible. Managers were present, but this poor experience seems to have been condoned. It was not addressed and seemingly is standard practice. Do not book a night here if comfort is a requirement.
