Great location for the airport

The location is great literally 3 minutes walk to the airport. The room was clean, comfy bed and decent bathroom. It’s got a bar and menu. There’s no lift but staff offered to help with bags if needed.

Very good

We had to stay at this hotel because they had cancelled our flight. Very nice and helpful staff. We also stopped for 2 lunches and one dinner. All excellent and plentiful. Would definitely stay again

Nice lunch on the terrace.

We had a nice lunch on the terrace. Relax while enjoying a glass of wine and a nice lunch. Super nice and friendly service. We were offered another delicious dessert. Perfect to pass the time when you have returned the car.

THROWN OUT FOR LEAVING A 3 STAR REVIEW…(?)

Wow an unexpected experience with Hotel Jurgen. I will write it in english this time. We have spent 2 nights here because of an unforseeable problem (and to wait for the 3rd person) and left an honest review on the second evenig. This included that the hotel is nice and the stuff is polite and kind, however I made some suggestions how the room facilities could be upgraded to it’s fully functional. This AND the very fact that we paid the exact same price for 2 person as we were requested to pay for originally 3 person left me to leave 3 stars out of 5, which felt completely fair to say and was intended as a constructive criticism to build upon.
The next morning the so far kind manager pulled his phone out straight into my face to ask me out on how did I dare to leave such a comment “the most bad review” they ever got, and told me to “go and find another hotel” leaving me and my family with no option.
I understand that it might have hurt his feelings, again a comment what I meant as a constructive criticism, but this action towards a 83 years old man felt unproportionate, unnecessary, humiliating and awkward. This is definitely not hospitality. I think there are other ways to manage his disappointment. Honestly I have flew around the world across the US, Hongkong and Europe but have never met such a treatment.
I advise you not to stay here for more than 1 night to avoid being thrown out for minor inconviniences that bothers them or choose Hotel Garden literally 50 meters away, where they offer an excellent service for the same price, with everything included that you might miss at Hotel Jurgen.

Bene

.having the flight at 6 in the morning was the only possible solution... clean and spacious rooms, 2 minutes from the airport entrance... does not cost very little but that's okay... we were even printed boarding passes... I recommend
