Good price beer.

Stayed here a few times now over the years.
It's real nice clean motel , right in town , friendly staff , including the lovely cleaners, pub connected had cheap on tap stone and wood my favourite. Didn't get chance to try their food as I was venturing out to try other places.
Try there pizza next time.
Don't worry about the noise it's all over by 10 pm in Bowen on Friday/Saturday night.

Never ever again

Thought why not and wow weren’t we wrong!
Pub and venue is nice, clean, but unfortunately unorganized & very unwelcoming.
We persisted & wait at bar to be noticed, order a beer get a muffled groan, grab menu, order food nervously from Mr personality. Somehow we all order steaks and we all order Rare and they are all Med/Well at best.
How do you stuff up 4 from 4 steaks?
Bartender has vanished again so we leave steaks untouched, chips eaten, and never to ever return. He sees us leave and is clearly not interested and nor are we now!
Disgraceful and pathetic
Some places don’t bother and this venue is at the top of the pile. What a disaster of a lunch.

Our Pizza not nice!

The wood fired pizzas look great on the website, and receive good reviews. We ordered a takeaway Supreme wood fired pizza, and I learned a lesson: always lift the lid, and check a wood fired pizza before returning to holiday accommodation! Ours was very burnt, and was unpalatable due to a bitter taste. I provided feedback and photos to the hotel, and was thanked for my feedback, but received no further information. (Have tried, but can’t upload my photos to Trip Advisor)

Great staff

We ate in the bar. Lovely space and nice staff. We arrived just as the restaurant had closed. The staff were happy to serve us even though they had close the kitchen. Nice people. We had pizza which was excellent. Would recommend. Tip- air con made it cold inside so bring a sweater.

Great place

Sat outside due to having my little dog with me and a lady who worked there came out with a small dog bowl with some treats for my Trixie.. I also bought her a small Pupcup which she loved.. Very dog friendly place
I had the Chicken Schnitzel with Garlic Prawn Toppers which was yummy My friend had a Pork Belly Salad that looked great too..
The staff were friendly and nice too..
I will definitely go back again..
