A place to relax and enjoy the rainforest.

Our cabin was very well appointed it had everything we needed. We enjoyed relaxing on the deck it was a great spot to sit and look up at the surrounding mountains and into the rainforest. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room in the bathroom. It would have been nice to have a lite breakfast included maybe some fruit and granola as there aren’t a lot of options for breakfast close by.

Thank you for your review. In terms of breakfast, we apologise for not stressing we did not provide breakfast and will make this clearer on our welcome emails. For those that book direct, we provide breakfast vouchers for a cafe in Cape Tribulation, Turtle Rock Cafe, and will also stress to those that book through 3rd parties on the Turtle Rock Cafe.

Private luxury within the rainforest

Perfect location to visit Cape Tribulation and set within an amazing rainforest backdrop. Lilliam, our host, was extremely accommodating and our room was finished with excellent amenities and finishings. Very comfortable bed and linen, definitely a five star plus, plus venue

Amazing accommodation

Location was amazing, highly recommend. Atmosphere was peaceful and exactly what we were hoping for. Rooms were very clean and we received a very warm welcome and felt accommodated in every way. Thanks!!

Idyllic retreat nestled in Daintree Rain Forest on Mount Sorrow. Extremely peaceful tranquil location.

Mist are beautiful self contained pavilions part way up Mount Sorrow in the Daintree forest and aptly named. Most mornings/evenings the mountain top views, from the pavilions, are covered in mist. It is a very beautiful sight.
The rooms and furniture all appear brand new, in excellent condition and very comfortable. It is an ideal location to hide away from the world embedded in nature. The only sounds are the babbling brook running along the back and side of the property or the wildlife, mostly birds.
Although it is a great way to disconnect and retreat from a busy world and immerse yourself in nature, phone coverage and WiFi are still extremely good. You can choose to disconnect, as we did, or remain in touch with Netflix or similar.
Lilian was a wonderful host and extremely helpful with anything and everything we needed. My wife and I had a wonderful, peaceful four night stay and I can highly recommend Mist to anyone looking for a little bit of luxury nestled in the forest.
If you are staying I would recommend booking directly with Lilian and Mist, rather than through booking sites. Lilian provides extra perks when you do.

Great place to stay!

Lilian is a helpful hostess and very attentive. A softer pillow was arranged in no time. The garden is great and the space outside is lovely to relax. Everything is there. There's just no hob. A bbq and microwave are provided. Everything is clean and neat. Absolutely recommended, especially compared to what is available nearby. Do you like peace and nature? Then this is the place.
