Clean comfortable and quiet

Ideal venue for large family events
Over Easter Our family met for an 80th Birthday. Our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and 2 Aunts stayed, all from interstate. Bedrooms were all clean and towels supplied. Bathrooms were clean & adequate. Downstairs was roomy and ideal for what we wanted. Loads of room for kids and adults who attended the party. Little ones could run around and have fun in total safety. Kitchen was quite adequate with 3 large fridges, 2 ovens and lots of utensils, toasters, jugs, microwave etc. We were more than happy with the whole venue. It is old but we loved it. Would recommend to anyone wanting somewhere for family celebrations

A poor choice for overnight
Sadly I cannot review this motel in a positive light. The room itself was presented quite nicely and the bed was comfortable. General cleanliness and attention to detail was lacking. We had no toaster, no hairdryer, the shower gel and hand soap were open and, I assume , had been used by the previous guests. Check in was by phone so there was no reception to as for assistance. It was in walking distance to the Country Club inn hotel here we had one of the best meals I have had and staff were fantastic

Awful, worst room I’ve ever seen.
Don’t stay here. Stay at Palm Motor Inn.
This motel The Albion is very old and in need of lots of renovations.
The bed was full of mites (big ones) the sheets looked like they had not been changed from last person who slept on them. They were crinkled and had hair and other particles (plus mites) over them. The toilet took 3 flushes . The curtains were dirty, had holes in them and very old so the heat was getting through. The windows were filthy and not cleaned. The floor was in need to renovations with pieces ripped up.
The fridges looked like they had bullet-holes through them. The timber bench was out of shape and looked like it was about to come apart.
The pub itself (in front on rooms) was derelict and closed down so we had to ring a number to get access to room.
It was a real nightmare and I did not feel safe staying here. We cancelled our booking after looking at 3 rooms and all as bad as the one before.
I did not dare stay the night here and please if you read this review believe what I’m saying. Just DONT STAY HERE!!!!

Check in was simple and easy. Otherwise we did not have face to face contact with staff. Basically we got what we paid for. There wasn’t any preconceived thoughts about the room.
