Fantastic

We were very pleased with our stay at vibe. The room was clean, facilities were great and all the staff were friendly. The hotel is in a convenient location in the heart of Hobart, although it is across the road from the hospital (so expect to hear lots of sirens). It is within walking distance to a lot of the sites Hobart has to offer. We will definitely stay here again on our next Hobart trip.

Stay at Vibe Hobart

Vibe was perfect for what we needed, room was neat, tidy and comfortable. Staff were friendly and professional, the gym is small but all you need on a holiday. The heated pool was nice and area kept tidy. Restaurant food downstairs was good when we went down for dinner. Hotel was also in walking distance from the pier and Salamanca markets, the mall and most things you need unless doing a day trip somewhere.

Comfortable Hotel, but Some Practical Issues

Our stay was generally comfortable, but a few issues impacted our overall experience.
After a long day of travel, we arrived on Sunday evening and chose to dine at the hotel restaurant for convenience. Unfortunately, it appeared to be operating with limited staff and the menu options were quite restricted.
The biggest frustration was parking on our final day. At Friday check-out, we were advised that the parking pass had to be returned and we could not leave our car in the hotel car park while we worked that day. Although we could store our luggage at the hotel, we had to move the car elsewhere, which was inconvenient. We ultimately paid an additional $35 for a full day’s parking, despite only needing it until later that afternoon, plus a $2.25 credit card surcharge.
Better communication and some flexibility around parking for departing guests would have made for a much better experience.
