We had dinner at the bistronomic restaurant: the food was good and the staff was attentive and helpful. However, we found the whole thing a bit expensive. The lobster was slightly overcooked and the cheese plate quite disappointing, which is a shame at this price point.
The spa is really great! In the morning, we were lucky enough to have it to ourselves for over an hour: a time slot to remember. Only small downside: the pool was very, or even too, cold.
Overall, a very beautiful stay in a pleasant setting, with particularly attentive service..

Okay, but...
Friendly reception. Effort was made to speak Dutch.
The restaurant 'Arden' was closed. We could only have dinner at the 'Lounge' restaurant. This restaurant has a fixed menu. We stayed 2 nights and consequently ate the exact same thing for two days in a row. There was no other choice. No à la carte available either. Furthermore, the restaurant experience was completely ruined by annoyingly long waiting times between the different courses. We had an aperitif at the bar beforehand and did not have coffee after the meal. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:00 PM for a 4-course menu and left at 11:00 PM. The restaurant management is open to improvement, especially in that price range.

Exceptional
Very beautiful room with a terrace. Indoor pool, sauna, steam room, drinks, and snacks provided free of charge. Excellent bistronomic menu.
The breakfast is fantastic, and the staff is extremely kind. The quality of the local products.
Superb setting; everything is renovated while respecting the premises.

Beautiful castle farm, but no peace and a disappointing Junior Suite
The staff is very friendly and the service was perfect. The restaurant Arden makes you happy with delicious, refined dishes.
We had booked a Junior Suite and were disappointed. The description of the room on the website does not match what you get: a double sink, we had a single one; we did not have a separate dressing area, only one narrow closet to hang our clothes in. The air conditioning unit is above the line of sight of the bed, so I had to lie on the edge of the bed to sleep, and my husband across the foot of the bed, and this for 565 euros for 1 night (without breakfast). Turning off the air conditioning was not an option at 37 degrees outside.
Upon checking in, I saw that the toilet was not completely clean, so I cleaned it myself. Holes in the towel and threads on the washcloth. And as if that wasn't enough: at restaurant Arden I also received a refreshing towel with three holes in it. I had to laugh about it, in the middle of that luxuriously looking setting.
When I confronted the hotel that the description didn't match what we received, the answer was that the photos do not match the room. When I said that the description must be correct then, I got the answer: "it is a quiet room." On the side of the parking lot and the highway?
I was able to compare it with other locations, and for us this was the least and overrated hotel for the price quality.
We unfortunately will not be back.
