Quiet kite hotel with scool inside natural reserve
The Kite Nômade is a quiet couple-owned stay inside a closed gate condo surrounded by nature and almost in front of the water. The room is comfortable and clean with rustic decor. The sheets are made from natural fibers, showing the owner's attention to detail and comfort. The second floor rooms have private balconies with hammock and view to the lake 200 meters away from the hotel's door.
This is a sports/kite hotel, both owners are kitesurfers and teachers (IKO) at the school operating there. They have a permit to teach at the grass area nearby, with staff to help build and setup all the materials. They offer price competitive private classes bundles and focus on safety, technique and evolution.
The lake is calm, with shallow water and fine sand at the bottom. There's enough space for those who want to kite longer distances and many downwind options. There is a swimming area for those who prefer to relax and enjoy the sun.
The breakfast is catered to the Brazilian staples, with fresh local fruits and juices, cakes all made with care by the hotel's kitchen staff and fresh breads. The hotel has a affordable bar/ restaurant serving beverages, fingerfood and meals such as fresh local fishes prepared in typical Brazilian recipes for those who would like some immersion. The bar and kitchen staff are very welcoming and try to accommodate requests.
The hotel has a great grass area with hammock, trees, and cushions to chill, chat and simple enjoy the surrounding nature after a nice kitesurfing session. A nice plus side: the wind is slightly weaker at the hotel grounds than at the lake side.
I chose this stay because I wanted to relax and focus on improving my kite skills, and left wishing I could stay longer. Would definitely come back.

The place itself is in a rural area, extremely peaceful and quiet, the rooms are very comfortable and the hammock outside to watch the stars is very relaxing. The staff is super welcoming and polite, Thank you Marquinhos, John and Capitão for a great time.

Perfect for relaxing with the family. Paradise place. Great to learn kitesurf.
Fantastic place. Super recommend!! Attention 10/10. Top breakfast! Marcos was very attentive, both in terms of food and accommodation, as well as in relation to kitesurf classes. The place is beautiful and worth seeing.

A great finding!
Our stay was simply impeccable. It was me and my husband, and from the first moment we were welcomed with a love that we haven’t seen for a long time. The owner welcomed us personally, always attentive, friendly and ready to help including we already arrived and asked for a super ice beer, a detail that won our heart right away.
The guest house is a delight: cosy, well cared for, with that tasty vibe of real rest. At night, the lights in the backyard create a magical and welcoming atmosphere. During the day, the place is even more charming many birds around the garden, and they even lay corn to attract birds. It is a lively, quiet and very beautiful setting.
We took our two ringnecks and this guesthouse was one of the few that accepted our pets without freshness, something extremely important to us. We felt respected and welcomed.
The breakfast is a separate spectacle: varied, full, with cake, bread, egg, and a homemade jelly of amora made from their own foot. An authentic and tasty experience.
The cleanliness deserves to be highlighted: everything impeccable. Smelly room, comfortable bed, great pillows. We were so comfortable with the safety of the place that we even slept with the door open and our car was out on the street without any concern. The environment is extremely safe and quiet.
Inside the condominium there is a lagoon just a minute walk away. What a find! Hot water, total peace, no car noise, motorcycle... a true refuge for those who want to breathe and shut off the chaos of day to day.
We had lunch there and the snack was wonderful — tasty, fresh, carefully prepared, the way we love it.
At the bottom of the guest house, there is an area that looks like a small forest, leaving the climate even more natural and special. It's that kind of place where you feel your body relax automatically.
Finally: we were treated very well, we were very comfortable, we took our pets without problems, we ate well, slept well and relaxed like we couldn’t for a long time. A corner of peace worth every minute.
We recommend closed eyes. We'll be back for sure.

A little piece of paradise in the lagoon! In addition to the proximity to Rio, the local blz, the good winds for the kite and the coziness of the guesthouse, the hosts, Marquinhos and Katia, as well as the whole team, with their good energies, affection and care, make the stay a special moment!
