The ReMo Hostel is ideal for those seeking direct contact with nature. Located outside the center, it offers an authentic experience, with calm climate, amazing views and easy access to trails and beaches. Perfect for travelers who value simplicity and natural connection.

Amazing for birds and wildlife

Beautiful location in the rainforest. You can see a lot of different birds and marmosets from the hostel veranda. Staff are friendly with nice breakfast. The resident dogs kept us entertained with their antics. Make sure to bring mosquito repellent as it is in the rainforest. Staff were able to recommend tours in the area.

Beautiful. Tranquil. Great hiking.

We can highly recommend this place to switch off, get back to nature, enjoy simple joys such as reading in hammocks at sunrise, yoga on the decking, listening to the sounds of the birds and playing with the house animals. There’s no WiFi so definitely check everything you need to online before arriving and stock on some comforts. You can get the basics from nearby stores and there are a couple of restaurants but we kept it cheap by purchasing some pasta and rice and a few bits to cook inside the hostel. They have everything you need there. The breakfast is DELICIOUS with good variety of fruit, bread, cake, spreads, sometimes even American style pancakes and all for only 15 real!!! We went for a hike over the mountain to Sugar Loaf which was awesome. There are loads of lovely hikes nearby. Take insect repellent! They also have a washer and tumble dryer that you can use for FREE! The staff are amazing. Marie and Filipe are just awesome ❤️ Thank you for having us!

Heaven in the trees

This gem is best described as a treehouse, more than a hostel. It is situated up within the trees but within walking distance from multiple beaches. The treehouse itself is nothing short of a gem. It is overflowing with character from its homemade breakfasts (enough to draw you in on its own) to its quirky bamboo bedrooms. If you are within the vicinity of Paraty it is worth going slightly out of the way for! Thank you for looking after us so well.

Amazing hostel!! Amazing breakfast!! Just breathtaking!!

This hostel will forever be in my memory. I loved the atmosphere and felt truly at peace. Everybody should try this experience and collect some life long memories living in this massive treehouse. Just bring some mosquito spray and a smile!
