Nice small hotel

The hotel’s name is EMA now. Excellent service. Friendly staff. Close to the beach and to the Old Town -10 minutes walk. There is only few spaces to park, but you can find easy more places in the area.

WARNING

Since Booking blocks negative comments, I am leaving my opinion about the stay — or rather the LACK of it — here.
We booked two rooms at Ema Hotel at the beginning of the year. The hotel confirmed our stay, and we only found out about the cancellation on the day of our arrival, from an email sent while we were already taking off from Poland to Bulgaria! When we arrived at the hotel, the receptionist told us that there was no reservation, avoiding responsibility and explaining that he had only been working there for a few months and knew nothing about it… All the blame for cancelling the reservation and leaving four people without a roof over their heads was placed on Booking! Yet I have an email from the hotel confirming our reservation months earlier!
I feel cheated and disappointed, left completely on my own in a foreign country, with no solution or proposal from the hotel — on a Sunday! And without being prepared for an additional expense to find another place to stay!!!
In my opinion, the hotel practices overbooking — first selling rooms long before the season at a promotional price, and then listing them again for higher rates, cancelling the original reservations just like in our case.
Below any acceptable standard…
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE!!!!

Without question superb hotel, fantastic location and excellent staff. Highly recommend this hotel. Eugena is the best receptionist and full Of important information, local bakery and shops fantastic and so friendly

Amazing

We are still currently here but can say we want to come back for sure! This is family hotel but the service is fabulous! Receptionists speak English, all employees are smiling all the time, helpful and kind. Room cleaning is done every day! Clean towels, new shampoos, shower gels and soaps. Breakfast is delicious, sweet and salty variations. Coffee, tea, juices. Swimming pool is great, water is clean and cool. Sunbeds are fine. Beds in the room are supercomfy. Room is equiped with tv, small fridge, AC.. I have not seen anything broken, dirty or not working. I can dedinitely recommend this hotel!!!

Very nice hotel and great location

The hotel is located really close to the city centre. The rooms are nice and clean, we had a terrace with a view to the street but still good to get out to have a drink. The rooms are cleaned and towels are changed every day. The receptionists were really nice and polite.
