First Class

Really good find!
Even though we struggled with the language the waitress was supper friendly. Menu was in English & easy to understand with some great local dishes. Food was freshly cooked & fantastic.
Worth a detour if you’re ever in the vicinity

The owner of Borovanský Mlýn is very reluctant, unsympathetic...
I warn non-local tourists visiting Borovan in the south of Bohemia to skip this mill. There are much better accommodation options and restaurants such as Safari resort Hluboká near Borovan. Unbeatably the best in this region!

Great

Room clean, cozy. Great food, beer like horseradish. Friendly and helpful staff, including the owner. Lots of activities for children and adults. We recommend renting a bike and going on a trip around the area. We set out to explore the birthplace of Jan Žižka from Trocnov.

Very good lunch on beautiful place

We were on the lunch in Borovansky mlyn. As it is magic place in and outdoor, lunch was very good and tasty. We were in 6 persons and service was well done with all our request filled. I strongly recommend this beautifull place for walk outside and eat inside.

The worst weekend in South Bohemia

I recommend not to go there during the weekend with family because of weddings. The owner have not warned us that there is such event and we had found drunk people at playground since afternoon on Satturday. Plus were forced to go sleep with our child at 2AM because of loud music. And on top of it when we complained to the owner, he told us that it is ok to have such events there, we could expect it if there is restaurant. He turned it agains us because some guests could complain the same way about the children. The worst attitude which I have forced in my life, so over all Borovansky mlyn any more.
