Neat

It's cute for a week but after awhile unless your up late not much to do. Especially if you want to eat wait till after 8 and you will have more options . I love all the shells and all the dogs on the streets ! Cute shops a lot of marijuana products though.

STAY AWAY OF RESIDENCIAL SUIZA IN LA SERENA, CHILE

STAY AWAY!! this hostal is definitely not appropiate if you are looking for a friendly environment. The owner is an unpleasant man who only cares about your money and not your enjoyable stay. He does not know anything about good hospitality!
He refused us to stay inside the "reception" while we were waiting fo our airport transfer with the excuse that the it was his own space. He wanted us to wait outside in the street but we refused and he was saying that we paid for 1 night only and check out was at 12 so basically we did not have the right to be inside. The lady who works there made an excuse for the telephone and refused to help us to coordinate the transfer.
The internet was not working and the first excuse was that the signal was down and then the owner told my husband that the service was cut off because he did not pay it. The rooms are cold, very basic, clean but the pillows very uncomfortable and the shower head was broken. We definitely will not recommend this place. Chileans are very friendly and you can find a better place to stay in this lovely city.

Vacaciones

Siempre es un agrado ir a La Serena en cualquier época del año. En esta oportuniadad nos quedamos en un departamento en La Costanera, solo a pasos de la playa, y era muy gratificante despertar todos los días con la hermosa vista de toda la bahía de Coquimbo, viendo desde Punta de Teatinos hasta el Fuerte Lambert.
La Serena es recomendable por su buen clima, servicios, restorantes y tranquilidad del lugar.
Sin duda un lugar al que volveré todas las veces que pueda.

Fin de semana

Reconfortante visita de fin de semana , se agradece y disfruta el paseo por la avenida del
Mar con muy poca gente , un poco sucia la avenida por que están haciendo trabajos, pero se disfruta igual. La serena es otra en esta temporada clima agradable , restoranes con atención rápida.
