Beautiful hotel in the Trancas de Chillan, with wonderful service from Ximena, who is very caring and attentive.

TERRIBLE SERVICE MANAGEMENT FRAUD REFUND
I made a room reservation for August 23rd to 25th, but due to a personal matter I could not travel. 20 days before, I contacted them to cancel the reservation and according to the company's commercial policies they should provide a 50% refund of the value paid (published on their website). Now they are telling me that they are not going to refund me because it is high season but nowhere on their website or anywhere else public does that information exist, nor did they indicate it to me at the time of booking. The service is terrible, when I call they hang up on me. When I write to WhatsApp they do not answer me, I had to file a complaint through SERNAC.

Terrible experience and lack of respect for consumer rights.
I made a reservation by phone to stay from August 23 to 25, paying 50% of the total value in advance. On August 3—more than 20 days in advance—I requested the cancellation of the reservation and the corresponding refund, knowing and accepting that I would only receive a refund of 50% of what was paid.
Despite having given plenty of notice, they refused to make the refund, arguing that "there are no refunds in high season" and that this is "a general rule in Chile and abroad," which is totally false and illegal if it is not explicitly stipulated in their terms before purchasing.
Added to the refusal to comply with what is appropriate is terrible and aggressive customer service:
By phone: They have treated me badly and have even hung up on me.
By WhatsApp: They leave messages unanswered for days and, when they do, they respond in a rude and arrogant manner.
Due to this situation and the company's zero interest in resolving the problem in a civilized manner, I have already filed a formal complaint with SERNAC and left the corresponding record on TripAdvisor.
I do not recommend this place at all. They do not respect their own policies or consumer rights, and the treatment of the customer once they already have your money is pathetic. Be very careful before booking here.

Lousy, horrible.
We plan to spend 4 days relaxing and skiing with the family. We arrived and had a family party of the owners, with lots of alcohol, they attended us lousy. The heated pool was closed (website said it would be dumped until September 20), breakfast started at 9 am, and we went skiing, so we needed breakfast at 8 am. All this, added to the fact that the hotel is in abandoned condition, is that we decided to change places to stay. We were charged 100% of the stay, without having stayed a single night. No doubt the owners are inconsiderate and profitable. Too bad!!! Don't go!!!!

Run away from this Hotel!! Don't book!!
The Hotel looks beautiful and organized in the photos, but the reality is different. The owner (Jimena) is an arrogant, unpleasant woman. Already at check-in you required us to pay a much higher amount than we contracted through Booking. When we said we weren’t going to pay, he said he wasn’t going to receive us and leave us out (it was snowing and our group had several children). In the end we were forced to pay. In other words, WE WERE ROBBED! Apart from that, I list below several other problems we face:
- breakfast is rationed, each person can only eat one egg
- the food in the restaurant is TERRIBLE
- the heated pool didn't work any day
- the hot vats didn't work either
- Jimena spends the day screaming in a high-pitched and unpleasant voice, which makes the hotel look like a real MADHOUSE (if you want peace, run away from there)
- breakfast only starts at 9 am, so if you go skiing, it is impossible to get to the Ski Center early
The hotel staff does not allow us to stay in the lodge lounge drinking wine and relaxing after dinner. We are forced to go to our rooms very early
In short, our stay at MY Lodge was AWFUL! There are many hotels in Las Trancas. FIND ANOTHER HOTEL, for your own good!!
