It is quite decent. Takes some time before you start liking it. My room was very close to the toilet and showers. You can hear people using hair dryer and other things. Inside the room, depending on what sort of room mates you have it can get a bit noisy. The doors and lockers make a loud sound. The service is good. As expected the permanent staff looks bored, but does what is needed and volunteers are far more interactive and helpful. This branch of desti scores low on amenities, I feel desti should have a fridge and some basic utensils for guests. It's what a lot of hostels do and is very helpful. Good location and terrible Hangzhou food.

The bed is ok but most of the other beds user are long term students in Hangzhou so it’s a very stuffed dormitory inside the room. And it’s very dark inside the building .

The hotel is more than nice for the price, but a little bit far from touristic sites near the lake. Staff was really nice and always willing to help.

The location is quite convenient, not far from the metro station.
The staff were helpful and spoke decent English, which made check-in and communication easy.
The room was comfortable and well-equipped — they provide slippers, a towel, and other essentials. However, the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted and only blew warm air, so it felt more like a heater, which might not be ideal if you’re someone who runs warm.
The shower was a bit on the small side, but manageable.
Overall, a solid place to stay if you’re looking for comfort and convenience!
