Large rooms, ours a little dated

Huge foyer and bar area. Our room was too warm - all hotels in Beijing unable to switch on A/C until 1 May, fans are provided on request. Anyway, we took the duvet out, and slept under the duvet cover which was fine. Our room was a little dated, but large. The bathroom had a bath and separate shower cubicle. Water was slow to drain away in the cubicle, so just used hand held shower attachment which was less powerful than the overhead rain shower. Good breakfast with an adequate selection of both western and Chinese options.

There are several points that differ from the description. We recommend contacting us before making a decision.

The photograph shows an electric hob, but these are unavailable for short-stay guests and are reserved for long-term residents (those with 2-3 month contracts).
In practice, you can borrow a small electric hob from reception, but they seem reluctant to lend them out – perhaps due to limited stock – so negotiate firmly and persistently. You can also borrow crockery and cutlery, but cooking knives are not available for hire.
There is some variation in room quality. Upon check-in, first inspect the toilet and bathroom for any odours.
The hotel's third floor features an open-plan gym equipped with basic weight machines and treadmills. However, caution is advised as some long-term guests seem to regard the space as their territory and occasionally display overbearing behaviour. I encountered residents of rooms 1303 and 1305, resulting in an unpleasant experience.
Breakfast offers a somewhat varied selection, but many dishes are rather lacklustre in flavour, leaving little to be satisfied about.
Room cleanliness was good.
写真に電気コンロが写ってますが短期宿泊者は使用できず長期滞在(2-3ヶ月滞在契約者)者用です。
実際には小さな電気コンロをフロントから借りれますが数に限りがあるのか何故か貸すのを渋るので強い口調で粘り強く交渉しましょう。食器やフォークナイフも借りれますが調理用のナイフは借りれません。
部屋にあたりハズレがあり、チェックインしてからはまずトイレと浴室に行き匂いがないか確認しましょう。
ホテルの3階には開放式のジムがあり、最低限のパワーマシンとランニングマシンが揃っております。ただどうも長期宿泊者が自分のテリトリーと見做しているのか横暴な態度を時に取ってくるので注意が必要です。自分は1303、1305号室の住人と遭遇し不快な体験をしました。
朝食はバリエーションはやや豊富ですがイマイチな味の料理が多くそれほど満足はできません。
お部屋の衛生は良かったです。

Very nice for the price, excellent staff, room bigger than expected, near embassies and Liangma river, 15 minutes walk to Sanlitun/Gongti. Wish there was a mini fridge in the room.

We had a pleasant stay at the suite. The suite is furnished with fridge, washing machine, dish washer, cooker and etc. A walking distance to halal food and the subway line 2 which is the central line I suppose.
