Excellent location and staff were great. Jack and Gary in particular were very helpful. We stayed on the top floor (kids in one suit, wife annd I in annother) and just happened it was on the same floor as the executive lounge. There we were looked after for both breakfast and dinner without spending extra. Our rooms were very spacious and each had a sitting room. Our room in particular had 2 toilets. Excellent view of Beijing from our room. Will stay again!

Nice handicraft workshop

We had a nice workshop, with my daughter. The kind lady taught us Chinese handicraft. We would love to do it again. We could pick from different kinds of Chinesehandicraft

Great stay, kind staff. Especially our housekeeping.

Our stay has been excellent. Zhang Jun Hua, who has looked after our housekeeping in our room 1603 has been so lovely and attentive. Her service to our room has been like no other and her attention to detail has been great. She’s been very accomodating and kind, making my stay and my partner’s extra special.

We stayed as a family of four and booked a family room. The room was large and spacious 👍 The hotel’s location is excellent — walking distance to several shopping malls, the Forbidden City, and metro stations 🚇 We didn’t book breakfast, but there were plenty of places nearby where we could easily find good options ☕🥐
The hotel offered a children’s art activity, which our kids really enjoyed 🎨 It was also very nice that the Guest Relations Manager took the time to speak with us and explain the new program. Speaking English in China can be challenging, but she spoke fluent English, making communication easy and pleasant 😊 The gym and swimming pool were recently renovated and looked great 💪🏊‍♂️
However, the photos on Hotels.com do not fully match reality. The hotel seems to be divided into two areas, and the main building — where the family rooms are located — is old and outdated. Although our room was spacious, it was clearly worn. In the hallway, we could still smell traces of smoke 🚭 Even though the hotel is now smoke‑free, the smell appears to have lingered over time.
Overall, the location is fantastic, the renovated facilities are great, and the Guest Relations Manager was exceptionally helpful 🙌 But the main building and family rooms need modernization, and the lingering smoke smell affected our stay.
