Reservation for 3 nights during a heatwave!
I usually sleep regularly in hotels of the Accor group.
I have never seen such a horrible hotel, both in the reception area and in the rooms..... 4 stars is just for the decoration on the plaque! But it is far from being 1 star! I called a month ago to request not to be on the pool side (following a conversation with a colleague who warned me about the noise from the poolside rooms).
- 45 minutes to get the key to my room
- Room directly on the pool..... 00:20 still noise - impossible to sleep
- Room NOT AIR CONDITIONED.... even though the site states "Air conditioning with forced air...." .... when I went down to complain, I was told "it's not listed as air-conditioned on the site!" Sorry, I am not an air conditioning technician.
- No fan (supposedly they were all given out already)
- I have a colleague who gave me a thermometer.... I had 42 degrees in the room (everything is normal and doesn't worry anyone)
The next day, I was moved to a room... on the ground floor directly facing the parking lot - impossible to sleep with the window open because anyone could enter!
The temperature was so stifling that I went to my vehicle to turn on the air conditioning and sleep a little.
Really pathetic for a Novotel!!!!
PS: for 3 days I waited for the manager... but she was never there!
