Something a bit different.

Visited Chateau Miquelet on a cycle tour - accommodation of some character and charm. Be sure to book your table d'hote if staying here - we planned to eat in nearby Coutras but there are no restaurants open in the evening! Had an impromptu picnic in the chateau garden with a bottle of Chateau Miquelet rouge provided by Gaelle - a welcoming host, cheerful and helpful. Bikes stored in the wine cellar!

Comfortable and welcoming

Very clean, comfortable and friendly. Really good value if you are on a budget. We had a nice downstairs room with a door directly to outside, with two large beds which is handy if you are two ladies travelling together. Our hostess was extremely helpful.

Agréable

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce gîte. Les propriétaires sont vraiment très agréables. Accueil très sympathique avec le sourire, les échanges et discussions se font simplement et en légèreté. Petit déjeuner très copieux, chambre confortable, domaine dans un lieu calme et charmant. Si vous avez le temps, faites la visite du chai, le propriétaire vous expliquera tout sur la fabrication du vin avec passion et vous passerez un joyeux moment de partage autour d'une dégustation. Un lieu convivial où on a le sentiment d'être un humain avant d'être un client.

Super accueil !

Nous avons été super bien accueilli ! Éric nous a fait visiter avec passion le chai. Le vin très bon et excellent qualité /prix.
Chambre sympa bien que la literie a bien vécue. Gaelle nous a conseillé un petit restaurant sur coutras qui était formidable. Petit dej copieux et conviviale.

Excellent moment

Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce château, et nous ne l'avons pas regretté. Les hôtes sont très accueillants, arrangeants, et flexibles. Le vin est délicieux et très accessible pour le porte-monnaie
La chambre est spacieuse, la literie impeccable, et le petit déjeuner copieux !
Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement !
