Great Stay

A friend recommended this hotel to us because of its proximity to the Accra's entertainment scene.
My husband and I had a great time. The hotel staff and manager were kind and helpful. The food was very good (they have the best fried fish in Accra). The rooms are big and very clean.

Cheap

This is a cheap budget place. The room is nice and big with a comfortable bed. I loved the huge bath tub but the bathroom floor flooded after I had a nice long soak. The kettle was dirty with left over tea bags from previous guests. WiFi worked well.

Great Reception

We chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport - it wasn’t as close as we envisaged. However, it was sufficiently convenient for one night. The room was spacious and clean and the receptionist was so helpful, putting together a little breakfast ready for our early departure.
The hotel provided a complementary taxi back to the airport though the shuttle from the airport promised by booking.com did not seem to exist and our email about this was not answered.
We were advised to leave the hotel at 6am for a 9am domestic departure because rush hour traffic can be heavy. We were at the airport by 6:20 for an African World Airways flight that was first delayed until noon and then cancelled altogether. But that’s another story.

Serene

I had to pass a night in this hotel due to challenges I had checking into my reserved hotel. I was well received at the front desk by Wendy with a pleasant smile.
The hotel is quite serene and peaceful and a very good spot for anyone seeking to go away from the bustle of the city. The facilities and services are commendable.

A cozy home away from home in Accra

Tropical enclave is a well located cozy boutique hotel in the Oxford street Osu area in Accra. Quite, clean and friendly staff with excellent access to all parts of the city. I will definitely stay there again.
