Simply great

It was a good experience overall specially with the cleanliness of the room. Nice complimentary breakfast.

Poor Stay experience due to Uncourteous and Unprofessional Staff Behaviour

I stayed here on 25th March 2026 for 1 night stay and check-out in the morning.
I had booked it through the front desk at Treebo Anna Nagar Chennai who refered me to this Treebo Elan Chennai Property as the Anna Nagar property was fully sold out. The reception guy at Anna Nagar sent me a payment request for Hotel Stay (including breakfast) and I did a full advance payment. The booking ID: (Booking ID: TRB-17744451493761).
Upon reaching the hotel, when I enquired about the morning breakfast timing, the staff (Extremely casual , very poor on basic skills about customer response) tells me that they can give only the watermelon, eggs and bread-butter and no items or any other cereals. In the morning, when I asked for watermelon, the fruit was of extremely poor quality.. over riped... cut before 1 day as the staff stated.
The most disappointing part was the staff says they would tell about breakfast only after booking confirmation. That's a cheating with customer... the staff at thisnproperty Treebo Elan Chennai is extremely uncourteous, rude and unprofessional. Not oriented for the customer needs at all... extremely arrogant... having no sorry / apologetic feelings for non-delivery.. they would say this is what it is.
Rooms are of descent sizes but I could see cockroaches and insects on floors as the room opened in the midnight for my stay.
Overall an extremely poor experience... I thought being a Treebo Branded chain, there is basic hospitality and courtesy among the staff but it's completely opposite. The staff does not seem to be trained on the basic etiquettes of managing customer experience and also especially the tough conflict situations... I dont know about Treebo as a whole as this was my 1st stay with Treebo in India... but this particular property is in extremely UNSAFE hands untill Treebo takes any corrections.
I tried to make calls to Treebo helpline but it did not go through tontheir service support teams.

Decent homestay with cope for improvement

I loved the room. It has quite decent amount of space. And it wasn't cluttered.
However, there is so much room for improvement.
Dustbins were not provided in the room and in the washroom.
Hand towel was not provided though two bath towels were available.
The cupboards locks were not working. Even if they may not be used, they should be maintained.
Room freshners should be provided.
The manager was not available all the time on the desk.
The service can be improved. I had to remind the manager for water bottle, tea bags, sugar and milk powder at least 4 times.
I liked the place though. No complains but just become better.

Clean and Hygienic Stay

Visited Chennai during the World Cup needed a place to stay closer to the stadium, found a good deal on TripAdvisor. The hotel is clean and hygienic. It is accessible to most places. Will definitely visit again if I am in Chennai, strongly recommended

Best and comfort stay

It's simply waoo... The room was lovely and beautiful and with every facility. Staff was so friendly and helpful. Talking about room so we had lots of space, everything was cleaned. The location is perfect, as one steps right into the city. I would highly recommend this place for a comfortable stay, as it is definitely worth the money.
