Peaceful accommodation

Tucked away from the madness of the ubud traffic, is the peaceful Tanah Semugen. Plus sides - Wayman the host is a very friendly guy and goes out of his way to have a chat with you every day. The breakfast is 10/10. Every morning you get a fresh fruit juice, a plate of mixed fruit and a hot option. My favourite was the avocado & eggs on toast, while my husband loved the banana pancakes. Downside (for me )- cleanliness, it definitely could be cleaner. Room was tired and in need of some tlc. For the price we paid we cannot complain as the breakfast alone was worth the cost.

Wonderful place to stay

Fantastic stay, Wayan, the host is very attentive. Messages were sent from him prior to our stay for directions to the property.
Just off the main road, you will find this oasis of tranquillity. Breakfast to order and brought up to your room to eat on your balcony.
Very clean rooms and lovely environment, near to main areas with lots of bars and restaurants.
Absolutely loved Ubud and would definitely stay here again.

2 nights in Ubud

The hotel''s location is a quiet and typical hotel where you can give that beautiful pool view, reaching both on a busy street and small trail. For breakfast, there''s a menu with 4 options. Arriving in your room with fresh fruit and freshly squeezed juice from your choice. Great value for money. Thanks for the great service to Wayan.

Nice address near the center of Ubud

The hotel is difficult to find from the street, even our driver was wrong. You reach the hotel via a (car-free) narrow path and enter a full, but beautiful garden with a small swimming pool. We had a room on the 1st floor. Spacious, spotless room, nice bed, large balcony. If all goes well, the Ubud monkeys will drop by. Wayan the owner is very friendly and helpful, as is his wife who runs a small shop on the street. Showering in the bath and waiting a long time for hot water is actually the only downside. Breakfast is ordered via WhatsApp and delivered to your room. Good, but not super special breakfast. Hotel is close to the center with a busy shopping street with many shops and restaurants. You can reach the market in fifteen minutes.
Definitely an address to stay again for a few days!

The most wonderful experience ✨

I stayed in four places in UBUD and I’m so glad that this was my last place, it made my trip!!!! Wayan and Nyoman and their family are beautiful and amazing hosts…. I was genuinely sad to leave!!!
The room was beautiful with the most gorgeous outlook to a beautiful garden and the pool with a large balcony with chairs and a table that u can sit at. The air conditioning was great and the shower pressure was awesome!!!!! The room was spotless and cleaned every day and the hosts even put fresh flowers in the room which was so sweet. The breakfast is better than what I had at some cafes!!!! So delicious especially the pineapple pancake and scrambled eggs and avocado toast!!!! You also get a huge plate of fruit and fresh juice that you can choose from…. The breakfast is very generous. You get two bottles of fresh water every day and free refills. The bed is so comfortable and I had amazing sleeps!!!! And the linen is very clean.
I loved chatting them daily and learning more about their beautiful culture.
The pool area is beautiful.
The location of the property is great it’s close to the centre of ubud and in a really quiet area with lots of great cafes, restaurants, shops and places that you can arrange activities.
I cannot wait to go back there and could not recommend it more highly ❤️
