Best value and location in dungarvan
Rooms clean, beds sooooooo comfortable and great value. Although breakfast not available plenty of places in town so didn't matter.
Can't wait to go back as staff and locals made me feel like family

Suitable Modest, Older Accommodation
Parking: We arrived in the evening and paid enough to park until 5pm. The next day we fed the meter more then parked in a lot.
Room: You check in at the pub and the room is beside/above the pub. We could hear voices in the evening. I assume from the pub, unless from the room next door. This didn’t stop us from falling and staying asleep, but for light sleepers, maybe bring ear plugs.
We were staying on the top floor up many steps, but it wasn’t so bad. We booked a double room and it also has two twin beds: one next to the double and one in kind of an alcove. The room was very spacious. There is a wardrobe. The bathroom was decent size. The shower has a dial to adjust the heat after you turn the lever to turn it on.
There seemed to be a scent of cleaning products in the hallway and room itself. This is a good thing because it means it is well cleaned. It was pretty strong though, and not necessarily pleasant but you get used to it soon enough.
This is a good option for a budget stay in Dungarvan.

Be warned - stay clear!
Our stay can only be described as disastrous. From the initial less than warm welcome at checkin, a lady (having extracted full payment from us up front) handed us our room key and pointed up a steep narrow stairway to our room above. No question of any help being offered or available with luggage.
The main problem with this place only started at 2.00 am when returning revellers to the room next to ours partied for the ENTIRE NIGHT until they surprisingly left the property at about 8.00 a.m. Our protests to the revellers fell on deaf ears but we had no option but to endure as there was no way to contact the owners.
Other than the small matter of having just about 2/3 hours sleep, the room was clean and the bed sufficiently comfortable to otherwise provide a decent night’s sleep. The view from our room window was horrible ( see attached photo) and bathroom was grotty to say the least. None of the usual soaps/shampoos available just a liquid soap dispenser and ONE roll of toilet tissue.
