Great food and hospitality
Fantastic food! From the Roast Beef to the Chef's Stir-fry to the Mexican Style Chicken Fillet Burger. Very friendly! Highly recommend.

DEFINITELY VERY POOR VALUE FOR MONEY
Ask to see the room first ....we wish we had. I have submitted a more detailed review on booking.com. Makes for interesting reading.

Wonderful hospitality in the heart of Kilkenny
Our family of four stayed at Rafters in Kilkenny and were so impressed with the hospitality and service offered by Gerry, the owner. His communication was excellent and it was great to be able to pop down to the bar, have a pint and have a good chat with Gerry, who was very informative and friendly. The full Irish breakfast was lovely, the room was clean and had all we needed (the shower pressure was amazing!), and the location was walking distance to everything. We had a car and Gerry helped us with finding cheap, 24 hr, secure parking within 50 metres of the pub. Thank you for your help and service Gerry, we truly appreciated it.

Beautiful cosy room, well located in city centre and all the staff were brilliant, very professional in what they did. Best breakfast I’ve had in a long time and cooked to order so much better than a buffet. Highly recommend the place and hopefully I’ll be back.

The room was absolutely impeccable. The breakfast was delicious and we really enjoyed having breakfast in the atmosphere of the pub. Best breakfast up to now. The owner is really nice! The only thing was the noise; we wanted to sleep early but as there was live music in the neighboring pub, it was rather noisy until 23:00.
