Relaxing stop, in the middle of the beautiful city.

Stay away from it

Highly discouraged. There is no air conditioning; there is a fan that makes more noise than the street traffic below. Result: you cannot sleep either with the windows open or closed. In the bathroom, many things are not right, and I can document them starting with a toilet brush that is rusty and dates back to the Bourbon era. If I had to give a rating from 1 to 10, my judgment is 3.

Terrible

This is one of the worst B&Bs I've ever experienced. I encountered several fairly serious problems:
1) there was no type of heating working, so much so that we had to take a velvet blanket to sleep on
2) there was no hot water so we couldn't even take a shower, terrible
3) breakfast was a single portion with the pods COUNTED, everyone could only have 1 coffee, plus on booking it said continental breakfast, but there was no savory food or simply fresh fruit or yogurt
4) there is no parking available, so you have to pay to park
5) as soon as we arrived the TV wasn't working, so we called the owner who, very annoyed, said he didn't even know what we were talking about...
6) the bathroom was dirty and full of hair, I felt like vomiting
7) the light didn't work, unacceptable
8) the owner said that due to COVID, he no longer came into the room, but we found the chargers unplugged a couple of times when we left them plugged in...
9) they didn't clean or tidy up the room again due to ''Covid"... Terrible
Luckily the location was strategic, never again B&B at the cathedral, not recommended to everyone...

Beautiful and perfect location!

Simply stunning town and the bnb is located not far from the train station, and in a good location to walk around the historic part of benevento. Accomodation is beautiful, well priced, clean and hosts are very friendly. The room also had a great view of archeological ruins.
I would definitely recommend this bnb.

Could be excellent with a few improvements

This B and B could be very good and even excellent with a couple of small improvements. It is spotlessly clean and roomy. The position is excellent, easy walk from the station and to the main area of the old town, restaurants, banks etc. What let’s it down though is the cheap linen which did not fit properly on the bed, it kept coming off and the undercover was not very comfortable. The breakfast is very ordinary, all prepackaged, no butter to make the hard dry toast palatable. I am sure most people who are used to Italian breakfast would rather a fresh croissant/pastry and coffee instead of the dry uninteresting packaged cake, biscuits, bread.
