On the road

We discovered by chance this place of peace and tranquility, excellent reception, the lady was very friendly and welcomed us with great availability and attention. I recommend it both to those passing through and to those who want to enjoy relaxing a few days. The location is beautiful, all attention to detail

The water lilies.

Beautiful villa located in an isolated area of the countryside with well-kept exteriors and definitely usable in summer. Reaching it is not very easy because the road is so narrow that if you cross another car you can not continue. In addition, the last stretch, a private road crossing the narrow one, is dirt and almost impassable with adverse weather conditions (rain, fog, etc.). Parking is not very large and in the evening completely dark. The rooms are spacious, clean and nicely decorated in country style. The bathroom is large and clean, with everything you need, even with jacuzzi. Too bad the only thing missing is the door that separates it from the rest of the room. Breakfast is average and cost affordable. It is only possible to pay in cash and icing on the cake, without having a receipt.

Very nice

Fantastic, spotless rooms the very kind owner and lovely place.I will always stop .fabulous pool and garden favoloso.consiglio to stop at least once.close to the structure there is a great ristorante.la night you sleep well

beautiful peaceful stay with great views

We booked Le Ninfee looking for a peaceful rural retreat close by to the Abbey at Monte Cassino. It is located a few miles off the main Cassino road down a narrow country lane with virtually no sign of any other houses.
Having looked it up on Google Earth I already knew that the satnav location only takes you to the end of what looks like a cart track off this road, but that if you are brave and follow this for a few hundred meters the B&B quickly appears. At the entrance keep to the right and there is a dedicated guest park (shaded and umbrellas thoughtfully provided in case of need) accessed via an intercom. It is then a 100 meter walk through the gardens to the main entrance located at the rear of the property.
Location wise there are fabulous views from the guest dining room looking back to the mountains and the abbey and large grounds to relax (and swim) in. Our room on the ground floor actually was really more of a suite with an entrance hall, a bath and a separate shower area and had an exceptionally comfortable bed and was beautifully decorated in Italian country style .
Our hostess spoke very little English so communication was very much in sign language but the warmth of her welcome was clear as we were offered coffee and cake on arrival. Breakfast the next morning consisted of fresh bread, cheese, ham and sweet treats including muffins that she somehow managed to convey were homemade
For a price of just over €65 a night, this was one of the best nights of our 10 day trip. 15 minutes from the town and about 30 minutes from the Abbey, Le Ninfee is and an ideal location for exploring the area around Cassino. As well as the CWGC British cemetery in the town there is a German cemetery about 8 miles further into the mountains and a Polish cemetery and memorial up on the hill behind the Abbey that make a splendid hours walk rewarded with stunning views.
