Perfection! Worth more than 5 stars!
This B&B is just fabulous. Situated in an old building in a quiet street leading from the sea up to the cathedral, this is ideally located to enable you to see everything you want to in the town. You will need to leave your car outside of the old town but we were given excellent instructions on where to park on the Lungomare (where we got a good rate) and it was less than 10 minutes to walk to the property.
We were greeted by Federica, a family member of the owner, who spoke perfect English and was so welcoming. She gave us a map of the town and recommended places to visit and to eat. She also served us breakfast each morning on the small terrace outside the kitchen and asked beforehand whether we wanted a sweet, savoury or mixed breakfast so that she could get a selection of whatever we preferred. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh local pastries and cakes, yogurt, fresh fruit and fruit juice and different each day - we couldn't have asked for more.
We were the only people staying in the property so had the enormous lounge to ourselves - this is beautifully decorated with traditional furniture and portraits of the family. Our room off of this was large, with lovely furnishings and a huge bathroom with corner bath and overhead shower next door. The bedroom had a little balcony with a couple of chairs which was nice to sit on after we came back from dinner. there was air-conditioning as well as a large fan and free Wifi.
Spotlessly clean, beautiful and welcoming - I just can't recommend this B&B highly enough. If we return to Cefalu, we wouldn't look at stopping anywhere else. Thank you so much for welcoming us into this lovely home.

Wonderful B&B in the heart of Cefalu!
Sadly, we only spent one night in this great space! It's a bit tricky to get to as you can only get there by car during certain hours of the day but the owner was very helpful explaining where to park and it was a short walk to the B&B. We were the only one's staying that night and had the space all to ourselves, which was quite nice. Breakfast was simple but very good and served by the owner's niece. We loved, loved, loved Cefalu and plan on staying for more nights on our next visit to Sicily & will definitely look to stay at Casa Barone Agnello!

Honeymoon in Cefalu
We stayed here on our honeymoon. Amazing accommodation- very grand! The place is extremely well kept and clean. Really interesting decor. We had a balcony over the street and you could see the sea in one direction and the old cathedral in the other. Most impressive thing was breakfast- Frederica is the hostess and provides a very warm welcome and an amazing spread of sweet pastries, fruit, jam, local cheeses and cured meat. The beach and cathedral square are within two minutes walking distance? We loved it!

Our Own Palazzo - Well Sort of.........
We were celebrating my birthday - a milestone and wanted to stay somewhere special. We could not have made a more perfect choice!
We were the only guests in the house so had private use of the large living room filled with bric a brac, antiques and personal historic family photos. A friend flew over from France to celebrate with us so we were able to invite her for drinks in the lounge.
Our room was large with a big comfortable bed, crisp white sheets and the only "real" pillows we've encountered since arriving in Italy. The bedroom furniture was antique some not usable but beautiful. There was a large corner bath tub and heaps of soft white towels. It was pure luxury.
Our hostess was Federicke the niece of the owner and she was delightful and took pains to converse with us in English. She prepared and served our breakfast, the first morning on the terrace. Everything was fresh, the croissants from a local baker, freshly boiled eggs served hot, wonderful fresh ricotta, strawberries and cherries along with a selection of other fruit. Quality local olive oil pressed by the family, gorgeous thick yoghurt served in it's own jar, olives, parma ham and a whole lot more.
What a fantastic place to celebrate my special birthday. Ten stars!

Fabulous B&B
Spent a week in this fabulous B & B, it is an amazing historic apartment in the centre of Cefalu. We would highly recommend a stay in this splendid enchanting accommodation, it is steeped in family history. The family are so helpful and gave some great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do during stay in Cefalu.
Each day started with a wonderful breakfast which was prepared by Frederica, she is a wonderful hostess and varied the breakfast each day with different meats, cheeses, pastries, freshly made juices, coffee and the most wonderful home made marmalades.
The accomadation is right in the centre, excellent location for the local historic sights, great restaurants, bars and only a 5 minute stroll to a beautiful beach.
