Super courtesy!!!

It is a two star but the services and treatment of the owners is even superior to a three star. Guaranteed parking for all guests, there is also a swimming pool and a large outdoor gazebo where you can have breakfast and aperitif, as well as in the internal room.
Even if it is not on the lake but a few hundred meters outside the center of Garda it is absolutely worth it for the kindness of the owners!

A nice clean and simple hotel at a budget price.

We stayed five nights in the Lory having been placed there by the local tourist office and having checked out after one night of our Airbnb accommodation booking, which was horrendous (Poly House, via San Bernardo in Garda). Unlike that place our room was immaculately clean, with crisply laundered bed linen and a fresh and nicely decorated en suite bathroom. There was also a balcony which looked onto the garden. We are not big breakfast eaters so the simple buffet with boiled eggs and very good coffee was fine for us.
The Lory is a family run hotel and the owners are very hard working in ensuring that your stay is a pleasant one. It is situated about ten minutes walk from the centre and is next to a busy road but the double glazed balcony doors and aircon ensured a good night's sleep. We also found a more pleasant route into town via a little park rather than taking the main road.
We enjoyed our stay in the Lory and our stay in Garda which was ideal for exploring the area via the ferries.

Mia mamma, non udente, ha contattato l’hotel attraverso email (servizio offerto dalla struttura per poter prenotare le camere) 1 settimana e mezza prima del soggiorno richiesto. La risposta è arrivata dopo 4 giorni con un cambiamento di date perché non c’era la disponibilità. Mia mamma ha risposto alla mail lo stesso giorno confermando le date offerte. Dopo 3 giorni l’hotel ha risposto dicendo che non c’era più disponibilità di camere. A questo punto ho chiamato la reception per chiedere delle spiegazioni. La receptionist è stata super scortese, insinuando che mia mamma non fosse non udente perché parlava (infatti lei non sente, ma non è sordomuta), ridendo al telefono, dicendomi che cosa avrebbe dovuto fare mia mamma se non avesse avuto figli e ridendo ancora a questa battuta. Oltre a tutto ciò la receptionist ha affermato che avrei dovuto mettere la conferma di lettura alla mail e che altri clienti erano stati più veloci. A questo punto mi sorge un dubbio, se una struttura propone la mail come possibilità di prenotazione camere, perché poi a queste mail viene risposto dopo tanti giorni e se si chiama per chiedere informazioni ulteriori il personale è anche scortese nei confronti dei clienti? Dopo 5 anni che mia mamma soggiorna tutti gli anni in questo hotel non verrà più.

Campo base

Ottimo hotel, si presta benissimo come base per escursioni in bici a piedi o in moto. A 3 passi dal centro di Garda, personale gentilissimo e disponibilissimo, ambienti molto puliti, bello far colazione fuori sotto la tettoia. Consigliato.

Super, super, super

Das es so etwas noch gibt hätten wir nicht gedacht. Kleines, familiäres und sehr sauberes Hotel. Hier stimmt einfach alles, das Essen ist super, egal ob morgens das Buffet oder Abends das Menü, schmeckt immer. Alles wird mit Liebe zubereitet und serviert. Der Pool wird täglich gereinigt, die Klimaanlage im Zimmer arbeitet super. Auf Wünsche der Gäste wird umgehend reagiert. Nette Bedienstete.
Für den Verkehrslärm kann niemand etwas, stört aber nicht, wenn nachts das Fenster zu bleibt. Immer wieder!!! Wir haben für nächstes Jahr schon wieder gebucht, natürlich im "Hotel Lory"...
