Much more than a stay, a unique experience
It is not my habit to write reviews, but this place really deserves one.
I just finished two wonderful days with my family and my two boys aged 7 and 13 at the Faro di Capel Rosso and, honestly, I don't have a single negative note to make.
Starting with the location, simply magical: the scents and colors of the Mediterranean scrub, the sea, and a view that takes your breath away. And then the experience, truly unique, of sleeping in a lighthouse, magnificently renovated and cared for in every smallest detail, in full respect of its history and the beauty of the place.
But let's go in order. A special thank you, from the moment of organization, to Ms. Viola, who via WhatsApp responded with great helpfulness to every request and organizational doubt I had. And an equally big thank you to Davide and Carla, who welcomed us from our arrival with truly rare kindness and attention, fulfilling our every wish, both from a culinary perspective and in the organization of our stay.
Impeccable cleanliness, very well-kept room equipped with everything that might be needed. In every detail, you can perceive the care, attention, and passion with which this special place is managed.
A special thank you also to Mr. Luigi, who kindly accompanied us from the port to the lighthouse and then back to the port at the time of departure, making even these transfers part of the experience. During the trip, he told us the history of the lighthouse and, more generally, of his island, where he was born and raised, conveying to us with simplicity and passion the deep bond with this wonderful place.
Truly well done to everyone and thank you for giving us a stay that we will remember for a long time. An authentic, evocative, and truly magical experience, which I recommend without any hesitation.

MAGIC
Sleeping and waking up at the Capel Rosso Lighthouse, on an island in the middle of the sea... makes you realize how powerful and wonderful nature can be...
Being in this lighthouse, isolated from everything and everyone, I thought about how it manages to withstand storms while at the same time being enveloped by the beauty that surrounds it...
the sound of the sea, the warmth of the sun, the call of the seagulls, the light of the moon... everything reminds me of how small we are in front of nature and how life is short, fragile, but incredibly intense, and how every moment should be lived to the fullest.
Perhaps we should be a bit like a lighthouse... resisting the storms and... when possible... stopping to appreciate all the beauty around us and shining to bring light to others.
Carla and Davide, with their hospitality, professionalism, and passion... made this weekend magical ❤️

Un’esperienza da sogno al Faro di Capel Rosso: mare, magia e persone speciali
Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno indimenticabile al Faro di Capel Rosso, sull’Isola del Giglio, un luogo semplicemente meraviglioso, dove la bellezza del mare e la magia del faro rendono tutto davvero speciale. Fin dal primo momento ci siamo sentiti seguiti e coccolati. Viola è stata fantastica: ci ha accompagnati passo dopo passo nell’organizzazione del soggiorno, sempre disponibile e attenta a ogni dettaglio. Un’esperienza bellissima è stata anche il trasferimento con Luigi, l’ex guardiano del faro. Mentre ci accompagnava in macchina, ci ha raccontato tantissime cose sull’isola, sulla sua storia e sulla vita al faro. Un vero viaggio nel viaggio, fatto di racconti e aneddoti che ci hanno permesso di conoscere il Giglio da un punto di vista davvero speciale. E poi ci sono Carla e David, che ci hanno fatto sentire a casa fin dal primo giorno, con una gentilezza e un’attenzione davvero rare. Le loro cene sotto la luna, in un’atmosfera da Mille e una notte, sono state uno dei ricordi più belli di questo soggiorno. ❤️La suite è semplicemente splendida: tre finestre affacciate sul mare, una vista mozzafiato, ambienti curatissimi e soprattutto una pulizia impeccabile. Svegliarsi con il mare davanti agli occhi è un’esperienza che difficilmente si dimentica. Infine, un grazie speciale a Simone, che ci ha accompagnati alla scoperta dell’isola con il suo gommone. Simpaticissimo, pieno di racconti e curiosità, ci ha regalato una giornata davvero divertente e indimenticabile.
È difficile trovare le parole giuste per descrivere un posto così: non è semplicemente un soggiorno, è un’esperienza da vivere, fatta di mare, natura, storia, persone speciali e momenti che rimangono nel cuore.
Grazie a tutto il team del Faro di Capel Rosso per averci regalato un soggiorno così unico. Speriamo davvero di tornare presto! ❤️✨
