Fantastic stay to remember!
We stayed at Tenuta Pezzapane for two nights as a family of four, and it was a truly memorable experience.
By chance, our stay fell between two weddings, so we had the entire property to ourselves. The service was exceptional! Breakfast was served on our private garden terrace, one evening, we enjoyed a fantastic chef's dinner paired with the estate's own wines. The food was outstanding, and the wine pairing especially impressed my husband.
Tenuta Pezzapane is also perfect for families. Our kids loved the rabbits, dogs, pony, and donkey, as well as the playground, trampoline, and indoor playroom, while we relaxed by the pool.
It's an excellent base for exploring the region while enjoying the peaceful countryside.
Big thank you to the two Yulias for making us feel so welcome. We hope to return someday!

Relaxation and Tranquility to Stay
Excellent Estate. Attention to detail and details. Excellent Proposed Cuisine. Variety of wines produced. Courteous, kind and very competent staff. Parking Internal structure. Relaxing and Pleasant Stay

Caution! Appearances are deceiving!
The accommodation is advertised as “pet friendly.” However, this description turns out to be a sham!
1.) Several dogs live on the property itself, including a Maremma Sheepdog. Since we have an unneutered male dog, I specifically asked about the friendliness of the other dogs on site. We were warned about the Maremma Sheepdog, which they would/would have to lock away if we wanted to move around the property with our dog. When I asked what we should do if we returned to the accommodation later in the evening, the receptionist replied that we should let them know beforehand so that the dog could be locked away again.
2.) The dog is not allowed in the pool area. He has to stay in the room because he is not tolerated there. However, our dog barks when we leave him alone in the room. That would not be a problem, they said. During our stay, only one other couple was present. Certainly, one could have coordinated with them and negotiated an agreement. Even when we explained that we would leave in this case, they did not accommodate us.
And for additional information:
-to top it all off, they also charge a high pet fee of 30€/night for dogs. The serious question arises whether dogs are actually as welcome in this accommodation as the description claims, or if the alleged “pet-friendliness” is merely there to attract even more clientele.
- in the immediate vicinity of the accommodation, there is simply NOTHING. Everything is like a ghost town and abandoned. That casts an extremely dubious light on this accommodation, which just flaunts its opulence. The owners, whom we wanted to speak to because of our bad experience, were also “impossible to contact,” according to the receptionist….
- the area around the ac-

This was a return visit…. This time in the warmer weather so we were able to enjoy the pool and deck area…. Excellent ! The rooms are simply appointed but are clean comfortable and relaxing. My room (and I believe most or all ) have an outdoor area table and chairs area in a beautiful garden setting. We did get an opportunity to sample the food and again we enjoyed everything… Also their own wine is really very good. We bought a few bottles to ring home.
But for me the top feature of this property is the staff … because this is a boutique size hotel (less than 10 rooms I think) the staff to guest ratio is very high … and they are eager to make your stay the best it can be…. The manager Julia is a gem always making sure you have whatever you need …

A Special Weekend!
We were at Tenuta Pezzapane to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday and we could not have chosen a better place.
The estate is wonderful: cared for in every small detail, immersed in greenery and surrounded by the vineyards from which they produce their wine. Our favorite was the sparkling Pallagrello: truly a nice wine!
It is a place that manages to be elegant and informal at the same time, refined but never cold, welcoming and convivial. From the moment we arrived, we felt attended to with great care by the entire staff. We decided to rely completely on them and let ourselves be pampered: we could not have made a better choice.
The lunch was exceptional. The cuisine manages to combine top-quality local products with a modern approach, even in the presentation of the dishes: everything is well-kept, balanced, and never banal, with the final surprise of the cake that made us smile a lot.
In the afternoon, we relaxed by the splendid pool, enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the place. In the evening, we slept in a spacious, beautiful room with attention to detail, with a private outdoor space immersed in greenery, where it is also possible to have breakfast served in the morning.
It was a truly beautiful experience: a perfect mix of elegance, nature, hospitality, quality cuisine, and conviviality. Tenuta Pezzapane allowed us to make a special weekend for the whole family unique and unforgettable.
