A corner of peace in the heart of the ancient village of San Lorenzello.

A beautiful location in the center of the ancient village, where an unreal silence prevails for those coming from the city. The attention to beauty is in every detail; the common areas are welcoming, the rooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with everything. Breakfast with spectacular homemade cakes is amazing, and Mrs. Gisella, attentive and kind, feels like someone I have known forever. Those who love genuine things and the familiarity of relationships will not be disappointed.

Five stars

I booked one night and found a charming place. The small village is very beautiful and characteristic. A corner of paradise. The property is very welcoming, with large and clean rooms. The breakfast is superlative, the cakes are excellent. There is also a beautiful garden with lots of greenery where you can relax in absolute silence. Gisella is great at making you feel at home; she has kindness that is out of the ordinary. Before going, I had read the excellent reviews and I can confirm that everything is taken care of in detail. In this property, you really feel pampered.

A magical place

Staying at the BnB Borgo San Lorenzello is like living an experience in the land of fairies. In the ancient heart of a village that is all enchantment, in the shadow of the ancient bell tower, protected by an ancestral mountain, you pass through a large door and enter a separate world, a secret garden, lush and silent, where peace seems to have made its nest. That is the heart around which the body of cozy rooms, the kitchen, and the dining room are organized, where every morning the cakes baked by Gisella fill the air with their aroma. It is Gisella's always cheerful gaze and warm, sincere welcome that crown the stay at Borgo San Lorenzello, an oasis of tranquility where one can rest between one excursion and another in the stunning Sannio territory.

Charm, Beauty, and Comfort

We had a quiet, lovely, comfortable set of rooms just off the center courtyard. The lady who showed us to our rooms was distressed at the state of the courtyard garden, it being fall, but we thought it was lovely. We imagine it’s even lovelier in spring and summer. Gisela, who is a friend of Caterina, the owner, made our wonderful breakfast each day. She could not have been more pleasant. She speaks fluent German as well as some English. Communicating was not a problem.
Our rooms shared a kitchen with another room but we had the place to ourselves so we could cook, make coffee or tea, store some gelato and generally make ourselves at home. The wifi was strongest in the kitchen, less so in our bedroom if the door was closed.
Getting to the Borgo was a bit of challenge. The streets are vey narrow. Ours was a tiny car but even so we had to take care turning the corners. We didn’t have quite the right address and the sign outside is subtle. You just have to call and let them know you’re there because someone has to open up and let you in when you arrive. Once you are by the Borgo, at 19 Via Congregazione, there is a sizeable piazza with ample parking.
We planned to stay one night. We ended up staying 3 nights and would have been glad to stay 3 more.

A Christmas of magic

Christmas with your parents and Easter with whomever you want... We stayed at Christmas and felt like family. Only 3 words: hospitality, friendliness and professionalism. Beautiful accommodation and genoino food... Mrs. Catherine a woman of other times, of great humility, sweetness and generosity...
