Perfect hotel to visit Florence from the outskirts - Tram- Free parking

We broke down our car in Florence. The motorway convenience store directed us to this hotel and we do not regret. Welcomed on a Sunday, in French, with great kindness. Equivalent room 2* quiet, comfortable bed. The next day, the staff (not speaking French) went out of their way to find us another room, equivalent to 3*, larger, more comfortable and also quiet. Bedding, cleanliness, excellent. Breakfast varied very well. 100m from the garage (Verdi, also very well) and the city center. Tram to Florence and bus station 15 minutes walk. If we return to Florence, we will return to this hotel. Large free secure parking.

Improveable

Nice structure as a whole, especially for outdoor spaces, but rather spartan rooms. BASIC furniture, walls to be refreshed, bathroom in my opinion to be completely restored, smell of closed.
Expensive breakfast (10 euros) compared to the service offered.
Quiet and peaceful area.
You can choose for support in case of a night when you are passing through, but certainly not for a holiday.
Convenient free car parking.

Could be done better

I stayed 3 nights with two check in since I slept in steps in the hotel, the unnecessary welcome and devoid of hospitality, nice outdoor courtyard and kept well, the rooms on the ground floor is complicated you can not open the shutter if you want to circulate the air look at you in the room and you can not be quiet comfortable beds like pillows cleaning apparently performed, the door does not go into automatic closing lack of general maintenance since it could become a problem if one does not bring it with him also because the door closer by a false locking hook, excellent and hot water pressure, I took a beer from 33cl 3.50 € a little too much personal opinion, TV remote control not taped and it is obvious filth. Too bad public transport

Fantastic place, with greenery, parking, friendly staff, helpful and helpful, a step (less than 1km) from the motorway exit, near Florence (used by us for a Florentine weekend. Comfortable room, very nice and rather complete breakfast (only note, something more fruit and a greater attention to savory, however good), in short, a place it deserves.
The only sore point (but not the hotel's fault) the area.

New Year's Eve

We stayed at this property only the night of 31.12. The construction is a bit reminiscent of a convent or something similar, albeit in a modern style. There is a nice garden with ample parking for guests. The 2 stars less are mainly due to 2 points:
1) the temperature of the room: when we arrived the control screen marked 20 ° C but in fact it did not seem really, we tried to turn it up but we only managed to have a temperature say decent, but far from comfortable.
2) from the bathroom came an unpleasant smell, type of drain.
Otherwise the cleanliness of the room was impeccable and the breakfast super!
