Incredible Staff

I stayed here for the November Sumo Tournament. Got a Japanese style room, no complaints really, fresh towels every day.
What I really want to recognize is the staff. I ordered a sumo ticket through a third-party reseller whom I asked not to ship it until November. He shipped it in September. The hotel held the ticket for me until I arrived in November.

This hotel is not only old and outdated, but also extremely dirty. The air itself smelled of dust, making the entire stay uncomfortable. The walls were visibly dirty, and the carpet appeared as though it had not been cleaned in years.
The photos shown online do not accurately reflect the current condition of the property. They are clearly retouched and misleading, as the actual state of the hotel is far older and significantly dirtier than presented.
The bathroom was very small and had mold throughout, which was unacceptable. The so-called “free breakfast” is not worth considering as a benefit and does not make up for the overall experience.
I am genuinely surprised that this place is still operating given the condition of the furniture, sheets, and towels, all of which were in a very poor state.

The hotel desperately needs an update and it's a long walk from most restaurants.

Aging hotels

A hotel that is aging. The facilities are generally old. It is only a few minutes walk from Ohori-koen subway station. I'm reluctant to stay for a few days, but if it's just for a day, it's fine.

The employes were really nice. The hotel was in a good place, not too far to the important places. The room was a little small for all our luggage ( 2 Big cases and 1 carry on). The bathroom really small and old.
Basic but good enough for a just sleep a few days. They have free breakfast (just a 3 little pieces of bread, coffe, Apple juice and soup. they give you a Yukata for the room, really cool.
