Most staffs were friendly and helpful. Excepted one who we asked for the Korean facial thing and he asked why we didn't get it during check in like we tried to lie for it. Otherwise staffs even helped to bring our luggage up and down the stairs which they already have a notice that customer needs to do it themselves. Dinner/Breakfast took quite sometime as dinner was arranged course after course with really fancy dish arrangements. Breakfast has no meat and self serve sabu-sabu. Both meals were done in a enclosed room which I did not quite like but it was my personal preference. Train station pick up / drop off arrangement were excellent; really like the help of the drivers on our luggage.

Wonderful choice for relaxing trip

The hotel is a traditional onsen accommodation that offers an authentic Japanese ryokan experience. The building and interior follow classic Japanese design, creating a calm and timeless atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
The staff were kind, patient, and very helpful. They explained everything clearly, including the opening hours and usage of the different onsen facilities — public onsen, outdoor onsen, and private onsen. The hotel also provides a well-designed map showing the location and operating times of each section, which is very helpful even if you don’t understand Japanese, as the visuals are easy to follow.
The room had excellent soundproofing. We didn’t hear any noise from neighbouring rooms, which made the stay especially peaceful and relaxing. Our package included both dinner and breakfast, and the food was delicious and beautifully presented, adding a special touch to the overall experience.
The surrounding area is quiet and serene, with only a few souvenir shops and limited shopping options. However, this actually enhances the experience — it’s an ideal place for a slow, relaxing trip away from the city and daily noise.

Not worth the price!!!

This ryokan is located at a back street near the bridge.
The room was pleasant though the food was not tasty.
It was included in the price of the room, and this kayaseki dinner doesnt leave a food choice, .
At the onsen, no sauna or ice bath , just mineral pool.
On the second night we didnt come for that dinner,even
To conclude , wasnt worth the 500$
