An unmatched level of hospitality and caring .

Bob the owner and his wife are fabulous hosts that have created a homelike atmosphere. The comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms and excellent kitchen with many free items to use, made me feel at home. They have a cozy lounge and an outdoor bbq area for your enjoyment. They helped me with directions and what was available in the neighbourhood. Bob had just had open-heart surgery and still was happy to drive me to the Airport bus stop. That shows a level of hospitality and caring that’s rarely found.

Best hostel ever

I spent the last few days staying here with Bob and his wife. I honestly don’t have enough kind words to say about this hostel. I’ve never walked into a hostel or even hotel and felt so comfortable, welcome and at home. The beautifully designed lounge room gives you a toasty calm cabin vibe. Amazing to relax and look out to the quiet residential area surrounding and relax. Beds, so comfortable. Bathrooms lovely and clean. Amazing kitchen. And to top it off Bobs waffles (free to guests) are amazing!!! Thankyou so much team.

Would recommend

Place was perfect - lovely people, beds, cooking facilities, showers etc all perfect. The owner Bob is a decent guy, he brought us to the supermarket, dropped us into town and even lit a fire for us outside to drink beers around.
