We recently stayed at this hotel for the weekend. Overall, the experience was average. The rooms themselves were comfortable and appeared clean, which we appreciated. However, there were several areas that could use improvement.
The lobby was not very inviting, with stained couches and décor that seemed neglected, including picture frames leaning against walls rather than being properly hung. It gave the impression that common areas were not being maintained as well as they could be.
While the beds were comfortable, the bed sheets did not fit properly and continually came loose throughout the night, which was frustrating.
The stay wasn't terrible, but there are definitely some details that need attention to improve the overall guest experience.

Room was 400 CAD plus 30 for parking.
The good
Helpful staff, clean sheets nice TV free wifi
The Bad
The mattresses are brutal, very lumpy, almost no support barely slept a wink. Asked the following day but the hotel was fully booked up.
Travellers before us must have had cats because there was the slight smell of litter or perhaps grit from dirty boots.
Over all I needed the sleep more than the decor and cleanliness and sadly thats why the review is low.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. A little expensive for what is offered and having to pay extra for parking. The breakfast was ok. Nothing special. I wouldn't stay here again at this price.

Disappointing for the price

Very disappointing stay. Bed should have been replaced long ago, linens were literally thread-bare, only 2 very slow elevators for a high-rise hotel, breakfast was just OK at best, place is pet-friendly, and dog owners are not in control of their dogs. Ridiculous pricing for the amenities, which is much higher in June than May. Location is good.

Clean & Close to most Downton and Harbour

A clean hotel with comfortable beds, large tv and nice size bathroom.
Pros-
Generous Coffee making facilities in room
Comfortable beds
Fridge
Drawer safe
Cordless recharging port
Plenty of plugs
Nice breakfast- nit an overwhelming amount of food but always one form of meat (sausages, baked ham, sausage patties), eggs, oatmeal, fruit, cereals, toasts and my favourite, waffle making facilities! Juice and coffee. Yes, you will eat off a paper plate and wooden knife, fork and spoon.
Fresh coffee available downstairs all the time with take away cups.
Plenty of towels.
Cons
No place to hang clothes if you are there for a few days.
No iron
Good stay really.
