The breakfast was horrible, you feel like you are begging for food, they put the breakfast in a box, the muffin is a left over from Tim Horton... they put 99 cent juice in the box, total embracement.

No place to sit in the lobby. Dining area was "locked" off. Pool was not clean and there was no shower except for a garden hose! Central areas inside were pretty clean but room was not, carpet was stained. We had a pet friendly room. Our pet is very clean and we paid extra to have him there, it should have gone towards shampooing the carpet. The outside was not as clean and lots of smoking and cigarette butts around. The room furniture was very old and outdated. No place for 2 people to sit and eat...we turned the chairs to face the window and used the ledge for our drinks. The view was something that got us through the stay. The bathroom was so small it was uncomfortable to try and even use with an old very low toilet. No grab bars for safety. With the price of the room the parking fee was too high. The cleaning staf were the one saving grace. They were all very friendly; more so than the front desk. We would not book here again.

We had not stayed at Confederation Place on previous trips to Kingston and were very impressed with the property. The hotel is very clean, staff very courteous and the waterfront location is ideal. The “bento box” breakfast is a great idea, allowing you to dine in the light & bright breakfast room, take it to your room or take it to the park next door. Will definitely stay there again.

Excellent location, nice view of the water, friendly staff. A little awkward at the arrival, not a lot of parking space in front of the hotel. I also find that the hotel needs a bit of TLC.
