Five star gem by the beach
We stayed for a week at Barceló Praia. The hotel is located right by the beach and about 15 minutes from the city center, Plateau. There are also several restaurants within walking distance.
Some of the highlights include the seaside breakfast restaurant Jasmin, the ocean-view pool, and the Breeze Bistro.
We stayed in a standard deluxe room, which had all the amenities we needed during our stay.
Barceló Praia is a perfect getaway when visiting Praia. The hotel is fairly new and features a modern, relaxed design with Creole-inspired touches that create a sense of tranquility.
Furthermore, the staff is amazing. We highly appreciated their professional yet warm service. It was a lovely contrast to the sometimes more formal approach found at other five-star hotels.

Beautiful view.
Very nice hotel. Nice view, clean and large room. Nice staff and good food. Especially the tuna starter and ceasar salad were delicious.

Excellent modern hotel in Praia
The hotel is excellent, modern and with all comfort. The room we stayed was big and very nice. We particularly enjoyed the swimming pool. The location of the hotel is also excellent with a convenient parking nearby. Praia is not a walking city and the hotel is a short taxi ride from all attractions, including bars and restaurants.

I stay at the hotel was a great experience for me and my children even leaving the hotel they spoke highly wanting to return.Barcelo is is going to be a go to hotel. From the beautiful hotel and the outstanding staff definitely a place to bring my family again.
