Not a big, clean hotel.

The hotel is located in the private sector, not big and clean. There are cafes and shops nearby. I took a taxi to see the sights (drivers have problems with change) The airport is about 20-25 minutes by taxi.

It is a good priced hotel and the room was decently sized, but my shower had problems with the water pressure and the heat. Staff are okay, they don’t seem to want to be there though.

Unique point - very very brown Soviet place, clean but dismal. Large room, basic, things worked...just.
Reception desk often unmanned.
Breakfast served only in room, on a brown table, basic food ordered from pictures.
Staff were not very friendly, little smiling, a lot of sighing.
Transfer was good, collected punctually early hours of the morning. Situation is good, close to central sights and bus stops. But path is a track with huge puddles to negotiate.

Guesthouse near major embassies

The place is not too far walking distance from bus stops, which makes it relatively easy to get by and from the Astana airport. The rooms are clean, and the showers/toilets work without problems. The wifi connection is quite strong, and the rooms are quiet. I'd recommend it for those who need to be close to embassies, as there are a few of them very close by. Also, there is a supermarket nearby but if you want to order food, the guesthouse offers breakfasts, lunches and dinners for cheaper than you will find in an average restaurant in Astana.

Good place for a stay

We stayed here for 3 nights in august in a room for two. Definite plus is that shower and toilet is a part of the room. Also Wi-Fi was working well. They are cleaning the room every day.
Breakfast is on demand, but there is a non-stop supermarket 5 min away.
The position of the hotel is OK, 30 min walking from Bayterek or you can take a bus nearby into the city.
Only disadvantage is that the english of the staff isnt that good.
All in all, it is a good place if you are looking for a place for just a stay and a good sleep.
