Decent stay, but room for improvement

We stayed at Pacific Paradise Resort as part of a group tour through Costa Rica. While it wasn’t our favorite accommodation of the trip, it certainly had its good points and provided a decent place to rest after a long travel day.
The rooms were clean, spacious, and set in a lush, green environment that gave a nice tropical feel. However, one downside was the lack of a refrigerator in the room. If you wanted one, you had to pay a significant extra fee and share a small kitchenette with the neighboring room—not ideal, especially if you expected some basic private amenities. That said, the staff kindly offered to store drinks at the bar for guests, which was a helpful workaround.
The pool area is large and inviting—great for a refreshing swim—but unfortunately there were too few loungers available, and several were either broken or uncomfortable. It made relaxing by the pool a bit less appealing.
On the positive side, the staff were friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. Breakfast and dinner were both nicely prepared and served with care. The breakfast buffet had a decent variety, and the evening meals were flavorful and satisfying.
All in all, Pacific Paradise offers a peaceful, green setting and a good level of basic comfort. With a few upgrades—like improved poolside furniture and more flexible room amenities—it could really stand out. Not a bad stay at all, and with the warm hospitality, it still managed to leave a generally pleasant impression.

The pool is in need of serious repairs. The air took a long time to cool down. I let the lady at the front desk know but she said it was because it was hot outside. The restaurant was closed. Not a resort.

The property is close to town, convenient. about 15 min drive to Manuel Antonio. The staff are very helpful and kind. But the facility itself is too old. The room has no sound insulation. you can hear next door even if they whisper. I had to knock on the neighbor's door and asked them to be quiet at night. The bathroom shower needs to be updated with better ventilation. overall it's okay.

Tour Costa Rica overnight stay Quepos

For our group trip there was by Nov here 2 nights reserved for us. Hotel is mediocre, I would definitely not come back there 2nd time. Breakfast very poor and inspirationless. Rooms clean but for fridge you have to pay 15$ extra. Pure tourist exploitation. Swimming pool should be better maintained, especially if you also let it serve as a pool for people outside hotel. Hotel has advertising board with restaurant and pizzeria but there is nothing to notice. By 9pm everything here is deserted, even the bar is closed.

Perfect accommodation by car

The location was a bit off quepos so you have to have a car to get here. Very nice pool and restaurant area. Good breakfast and even dinner. I recommend to try their pina colada and bruschetta when they were really good. Spacious parking is available near the rooms. Pool towels are available at reception.
