Turism And Travel

Hello.
I back from Cuba this January ..2019.
I spent a couple of day In Sierra Maestra Hotel, Bayamo Granma...
Are you know that you can book a Room with breakfast only included , This reservation is know by CP and the price is around $ 30.00 daily.
Then you can spent the day walking around and also can have a dinner in a private restaurant in Bayamo Downtown .

Had better times

It's a nice hotel, being nothing otherworldly, but gradually it has lost its charm. Little choice in breakfast and meals, rooms without hot water, sometimes the care is not adequate. Too bad because it used to be the best of Bayamo City and the Cuban East, where the ordinary Cuban could go.

Disgusting

Sadly our tour got abruptly diverted to this hotel. I have never given a 1 star review before but this place deserved it. It was dirty and poorly maintained. In our room the toilet was broken, the sink falling off the wall and room walls and floor had horrible stains. The bathroom was full of cockroaches and ants. Other rooms had mould on the walls. It was extrememly noisy at night with very loud music playing (even by Cuban standards). Most of the staff seemed tired and indifferent - only the maintenance guy who came to fix the toilet seemed to care. Avoid at all costs

Tourist and travel

I can't believe last January went I spent 1 day in Bayamo.
The hotel has been renovate a lot...luck wonderful...ESPECIAL WENT THE ADMINISTRATION DID'NT ALLOW ....rent a swimming pool during the weekend
I had been there before, and it was disgusting see pool FULL of people front street
Let see if in summer they keep it ...clean as January 2018.

Horrible

Had to stay here as part of a tour. Ugly building, dirty room and poor food. Previous reviewers are correct in their 'Soviet' observations except that Butlins is far superior.
Avoid this hotel at all costs.
