Couples 3 night trip✨
Stayed 20/3/26 for 3 nights. Went straight to drop bags off at 11am, very welcoming, glass of Prosecco, kept bags for us till room was ready (not ready any earlier then check in time, always a bonus but not expected). Sat down with staff member showed us map, local extractions ect very helpful. Beautiful reception, coffee machine, ice machine, sweets, popcorn.
Straight to 26 for brunch (would skip, overhyped, nice but nothing special, rude staff)
Room 5.
Pros- Stunning room!!! So clean, comfy bed, great air con & heating, record player, big tv, loads of seating and space, lovely bathroom, mini bar (didn’t use but looks nice) coffee machine, lots of storage, sky lights.
Cons- so loud :( must be on the road, can hear cars & motorbikes, bars, music and shouting till gone 3am. I don’t know who signed off on metal stairs but can hear next doors every footstep. Thin quilt.
Location- 10/10 depending on what you want to do. We walked to castle, fisherman’s bastion, Matthias church, ruin bars, restaurants and synagogue.
Overall a great stay, lovely staff and environment. Clean, aesthetically appealing & quirky. Would recommend.

A nice and good hotel close to centre. You also got a small bottle of Hungarian sparkling wine for free.

The room was dusty. The bathroom had silver fish and ants. The water temperature in the shower was impossible to control as it kept changing on its own. We could tell the room wasn’t sound proof. The bed was very hard. The restaurant was good but pricy. No breakfast was included. We also thought we would have access to pool or hot tub or sauna but couldn’t find any of it. At one point when we came back to the room one bathrobe was missing along with one of our keycards. The reception replaced both but it left us wondering what happened and why. The location is amazing. The hotel is not bad but definitely overpriced for what you get.

Amazing experience! Fabulous hotel in great location. Really helpful staff. We were in the Presidential Suite which gave us great space as a family plus the added surprise of a sauna, jacuzzi and table football. Fun time!

Arrival & Access: Pickup and drop-off are inconvenient, located ~50 feet away in a driveway. The entrance within "Complex 26" is poorly signed, with reception on the 2nd floor. Luggage storage is insecure - checked bags were left unattended near reception. Early morning transit is unreliable; multiple app drivers cancelled en route, forcing a stressful airport departure.
Misleading Pool & Ignored Service: Booked specifically for the pool during a 42°C heatwave, only to be told it costs an extra €15/day. Staff dismissed concerns by pointing to fine print. Multiple follow-up messages via WhatsApp and Hotels.com were completely ignored for 24+ hours through checkout, even while automated promotional emails spammed my inbox.
Aggressive Micro-Management & Room Shortfalls: Staff insisted on escorting me to my room immediately to collect a €6.67 municipal tourist tax. When handed €7, they had no change and accepted €5 - making the rigid room chase look ridiculous. The in-room mini-fridge barely cools even with continuous power, and the bathroom provides only basic wall-dispensed soap.
Status: Given the misleading pool listing and unacknowledged service issues, an official dispute for a partial refund remains ongoing at the time of writing.
