Stunning beautiful natural surroundings
Beautiful resort amidst the jungle. Plenty of wildlife to see. Food at the restaurants you need to book for is fabulous. The other restaurants are good. Saw a flying langur last night and spectacle monkeys with babies, plus hornbills, geckos, birds and bats. Right on the ocean and within walking distance of the skywalk attraction. Nowhere in the island is too far and is cheap if you use grab. A quiet resort away from hustle and bustle , rooms very clean and come with a free mini bar (soft drinks mainly, 2 beers and nuts).

Wonderful stay in the rainforest
The Berjaya is a fabulous, big, sprawling hotel, set in the middle of the beautiful rainforest. The location of the hotel is right next door to the cable car and oriental village, which can be reached in a short 10 minute walk from reception. They do provide shuttles if you need one. Grabs are frequent and cheap if you need to get anywhere else.
Check-in is busy and not very personal, mainly due to the size of the resort and the number of people arriving and checking out all the time, but the staff were efficient, polite and lovely. We had a Rainforest Studio, which was huge, beautiful and set in amongst the tree tops. It was wonderful to sit on the balcony and listen to the noise of the rainforest all around us. Excellent cleanliness and wonderful towel animals every day that really made us smile. The complimentary mini bar was very much appreciated, with beer and snacks included and replenished once a day. Rooms are very spread out and depending on where your room was, the walk to the main lobby or pool area could be long and steep. You could order a shuttle anytime, 24/7. As the rooms are so spread out, they felt like a little sanctuary away from the business of the main resort centre. If you wanted a chalet in the water, be careful, some were behind others, which would have been very disappointing.
The restaurants were very good, we ate at the beach brassiere and the Thai, both of which were excellent. Breakfast was also very good, with a huge choice. It was slightly chaotic and very busy, you did have to queue if you arrived later than 9am.
The beach area and pool areas were lovely, but again, very busy. It was often hard to find an empty bed, either by the pool or the beach. Again, arriving early did help.
I can highly recommend the night safari to the mangroves. An excellent trip and much quieter than the day trips.
Overall a lovely, big, family friendly hotel which we would recommend. Just be prepared for it being busy!

Resort in the middle of nature, four restaurants, pool bar, beach next door, gym.
You can move to nearby places in GRAB taxis(download app). Possibility to walk to visit eagles Nest skywalk, where you will find shops, cafes and restaurants. Unforgettable experience. It is eaten well in all its restaurants, the dishes are very abundant, so it is better to order little by little.

A Truly Exceptional Stay at Berjaya Langkawi Resort
We are a family of four, with children aged 15 and 11, and we spent 7 wonderful nights in a beautiful Two-Bedroom Suite on the Water at Berjaya Langkawi Resort.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel like special guests. The warm welcome, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality from every member of staff made our holiday truly memorable. The Resort Manager was particularly impressive – professional, approachable, and clearly passionate about ensuring guests have the best possible experience.
The service throughout the resort was absolutely brilliant. Every member of staff went out of their way to help, always with a smile, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Their friendliness and willingness to assist made us feel relaxed and well looked after throughout our stay.
A very special mention must go to the team at the Brasserie Bar, who helped make our holiday extra special. Their attentive service, friendly nature, and personal touch really stood out. They took the time to get to know us and consistently went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. They are a real credit to the resort.
The resort itself offers a truly authentic rainforest experience. Staying amongst the lush tropical surroundings, with wildlife all around and spectacular views from our water suite, made us feel immersed in nature while still enjoying every comfort and luxury. It is a unique setting that we haven't experienced anywhere else.
Overall, Berjaya Langkawi Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. The combination of outstanding service, exceptional staff, beautiful accommodation, and the magical rainforest setting made this one of the best family holidays we have ever had. We would not hesitate to recommend it and hope to return in the future.

Love it ..Great Service
Excellent service by Mr. Zainul at the Beach Brasserie. He was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal, and his food recommendations were excellent. He also made our 11-year-old son feel extremely comfortable and welcome, which made the experience even more special for our family. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality—we highly recommend dining here!
