Pretty room in typical Moroccan house

Dar Karam is in the centre of the Medina. Very old traditional Moroccan house with steep staircase that lead us to a pretty rooftop terrace and our room. Nothing fancy but quite charming and sufficient. The host and his wife where very friendly and helpful. The house was well kept and very clean. Would certainly stay with them again.

Small riad in the heart of the medina 100% souiri

Small studio with semi-private terrace, located on the 3rd floor of an authentic riad, managed by a Souiri family. So of course these are not European standards, but here we are in Morocco, for real! Warm and caring welcome, clean apartment, small equipped kitchen area and above all, thanks to Maryam, the lady who goes out of her way to be pleasant to you, to the boss with whom we enjoyed chatting, a very nice little stopover

Great host

Lovely Moroccan style rooms opening up to a massive terrace, hot shower, pleanty of space. The host was so lovely really helpful showed us the fish market where you can buy fish then take it to a bbq and they cook it (must do) and a great Tagine place where the food was really good and a good price, thanks for a great stay :)

lovely clean roof terrace rooms

We loved our stay here, the landlord was helpful and friendly, we stayed in a room with two beds and another room with a double had a small kitchen. We climbed up onto the roof terrace to salute the sun in the mornings and listen to the call to prayer. this was a lovely getaway from the madness of Marrakesh and very reasonably priced at about 76DH for two for 3 nights.

Great location

The apartment was easy to find: turn right at the clock and head straight up and turn right opposite the pharmacy, take the first left and no 29 is on your right. The apartment is in the medina and is well positioned for everything.
Our host was looking out for us and was very kind.
We had the apartment on the top floor and it was spacious. The kitchen area is very basic, with no hot water and no washing up bowl. Hot water comes through the shower only. If you don't have hot water then do ask the host who will flick a switch and it is available. Not sure why we have to ask for hot water though.
The toilet and shower area are 'open plan' in the double bedroom
