Excellent.
Never disappointed with this hotel, the setting and the staff are always welcoming.

Hotel to forget
Several details make this stay not live up to a 4-star standard. After staying at French Coco, the difference in quality is striking, and the return to reality at La Pagerie is harsh. We are far from the standards of true attentive service. Here, the infrastructure is aging, and one gets the impression of being in an establishment that prioritizes profitability over comfort. The very high price-to-quality ratio is unjustified for the services offered. An address we do not recommend. The restaurant was a great disappointment. We were served lobsters that did not seem fresh at all, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Moreover, the welcome is very rigid: we were clearly made to understand that we should not arrive after 8:45 PM ... The highlight of the show remains the communication from Madame the head of reception. Following a dispute on-site and an internal communication problem among your employees, she was particularly unpleasant with a tone and attitude that have no place in hospitality and with vacationers. Despite several emails sent directly to the director, Madame Bidault Des Chaumes, to report these shortcomings, we are still waiting for a callback from her ... A disregard for the customer that confirms that the human element is not at the heart of this hotel. Address to avoid, there are much better options on the island.

Our experience since arrival was extremely disappointing- not due to one isolated issue, but due to consistent disorganization and a lack of basic service standards.
We were told our room would be ready at 3 PM, but it was not, and there was no apology or communication. The check-in process itself was inconsistent, with different information from different staff members.
More concerning was the handling of our luggage. Our bags were taken without any receipt or tracking. After waiting over an hour, we were brought the wrong luggage, which raises serious security concerns. Despite multiple follow-ups, both by phone and in person, we were ignored. We were assured the luggage would be delivered while we were out, yet we returned hours later to find it still unattended.
I understand that it may be a busy period, but the issue here is the complete lack of accountability, communication, and hospitality from your team. The tone throughout has been dismissive and indifferent.

6 day break in Martinique
La Pagerie is a nice hotel with excellent food. The price point is high for the level of accommodation when comparing to other countries. Staff are very friendly and work hard to support clients.
