It is always a treat to stay at Hotel Gobernador. Their food, amenities and proximity to nearby mercados and la catedral are just a few of my favorite things about them.

We loved our stay at this property!
Unfortunately we only stayed here one night but look forward to coming back for a longer stay. Restaurants were great and friendly staff!

We had a great stay!
The property was super clean and the staff incredibly friendly and welcoming.
The location was perfect-within walking distance to the Cathedral and Plaza de Armas. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely stay at the Governador Hotel again.

There was a car alarm going off in the parking lot all night. It would start and go for about 10 minutes and then stop and then start up again. I got little to no sleep. I told the staff they did not seem to care.
They need to know who is parking and the licence plate so if something like this happens again they can go to that persons room and get them to stop their alarm.
I found the service in the restaurant slow. The food was good. The toast was hardly toasted at all.
